Vogue Knitting Early Fall 2017: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released the Fall 2017 issue. Let's look at that, what are we?
Lecture no. 1, Binding with open seams. It's a little rough on the sides for my taste.
Pattern №2, Chevron sewing. Beautiful scarf. The plot makes it interesting.
Model number. 3, striped bandage with glynet. It’s a little rough and thick in my taste, and has anyone seen the walls of little people standing on each other’s shoulders looking at the embroidery?
Model number. 4, diamond-shaped texture curvature. This is a beautiful embroidery.
Example № 5, Shetland Screenplay. Beautiful ink clues.
Model number. 6, textured film. Although this part of the monster style is monochromatic, it is not visually obvious. I will pick two or three of these points and repeat them instead of making each piece a separate point.
Model number. 7, braid raglan sweater. Classic fabric with good shape.
Model No. 8, kimono-style vest. The back of this item looks great. I don’t like the front, but I don’t like open cardigans. I want to turn it into a sweater.
Model number. 9, knitted sweater. It’s not bad in my opinion, though it’s a little rough and incomplete.
Lecture no. 10, pullover with bottom hem. Beautiful and classic material.
Model number 11, pullover with diagonal satin stitching. Excellent stamp and embroidery.
Model number. 12, with thick hat. I'm not usually a fan of the net, but I love this net model with its curved, almost lace look. The size and details are also good.
Model number. 13, layered hat. Nice hat, but I don't know, I totally agree with these earrings, though I have to admit that these earphones are well designed as earplugs. The hat looks like a helmet from the Narnia series. This is certainly not a bad thing.
Model number. 14, vest with openwork pattern. I must admit, this material takes away my usual objection to loose, draped cardigans. Very appropriate, beautiful lace, the effect is romantic and modern at the same time.
Model number. 15, Strape Rouen. Stripes and colorful decor are irresistible. I didn't expect anything less because it's a Kaffe Fassett design.
Model No. 16, striped boat collar. It's so funny, so impressive.
Model number. 17. T-shirt with collar. This is also nice, although I don't think the color scheme works that well.
Model number. 18, entrusted with frying. It's like a "carpet".
Model number. 19. Broad tunic. I would tend to lengthen it a bit, turn it into a garment and recreate the color scheme.
Model number 20, pullover with curved stripe. With its ugly shape and rough edges, this sweater looks like a work that lasts longer than the finished material.
Model №21, Fibonacci vanishing jacket. I like the color scheme and this vest fits very well.
Model number. 22, striped clothing. Comfortable, fun, modern and even cool, but when I look at it I hear the words "Please don't turn on the TV".
Model № 23. Closed and V-neck sweater. The shape is beautiful and the color combination is well designed, but these hanging lace drives me crazy.
Model No. 24, striped raglan sweater. This is a reprint of the design, originally published in the spring / summer 1989 issue of Vogue Knitting Magazine. Excellent, but it's not an example I chose from that issue for republishing (I tested and yes, there is a real problem) and although UK editors recommend using a replacement thread around the color scheme to show reproduction here Done, I will re-work the colors.
I like the idea of real decorative buttons but they look a bit vulgar.
