Vogue Knitting Fall 2018: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published an initial preview of its Fall 2018 release . Let's see, shall we?
#01, Isola Bella must. How many interesting and beautiful decorations. I want to extend to Afghanistan.
#02, Bella Island Chapel. This is in an atypical color scheme that distinguishes it from the standard Fair Isle hat.
#03, Fair Isle jacket. A very attractive classic piece.
#04, with a set of three pink models. The appearance of these three items may seem overwhelming to me in real life and these are oven mitt shaped gloves, but of course there is no need to wear/wear all these three items and a jacket. And hats are definitely good design examples. I also love the idea of these pieces being made in two neutral colors and strong contrast.
#05, a leaf-shaped jacket. Nice, but I was going to straighten my drooping shoulders and lengthen my sleeves.
#06, mosaic encapsulation. This is another option that will look great in both an afghan dress and an abaya.
#07 striped lace scarf. Science!
#08 Triangular scarf with stacking. Fun and modern pieces.
#09 tassel. Beautiful jacket. I take the brush seriously, but I think it will work in a very new medium. People over 25 should probably skip them.
Jacket number 10 with a graphic yoke. Fun and colorful.
No. 11, braided yoke jacket. beauty. The yoke is sexy and stunning, and the edges look finished.
No. 12, a line jacket. Another great article. I would like to stretch it and turn it into a dress.
no. 13, plaid jacket in a yoke. Fun flirtation, but size can definitely use some cuts.
No. 14, plaid jacket in a yoke. Beautiful classic piece. Though Vogue Knitting editors, to be boring kids of the moment, this style and newer style should have been called a "plaid yoke pullover" and "plaid yoke jacket." These designs are not flirt styled.
No. 15, asymmetric triangle scarf. A very cute and shiny cloak that looks great no matter how you wear it.
No. 16, lace scarf. Very nice piece of lace.
No. 17, knitted sweater. very good. This results in a special dress with a simple, neutral top and bottom. The reason is that this design was inspired by a Chanel jacket and I can definitely see its influence.
No. 18, slip quilt dress. I like this, it would be surprisingly useful and versatile because it would look good on its own or as a turtleneck sweater. The mini-skirt length may not be for everyone, but it can be pulled up easily for those who feel a bit older than mini-skirts or don't like mini-skirts.
19, bell-sleeved jacket. Unfortunately I am destined to never wear it because it makes me look too heavy as it is not a style for women with a good physique but it would be fun and stylish for the right person.
No. 20, jacket with collar and sash. This is an Isaac Mizrachi model from 1998, but honestly there are so many models in the Vogue Knitting Vault that they could have picked something better than this slow, smooth number.
