Vogue Knitting Holiday 2018: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published its Christmas 2018 issue . Let's see.
# 1 Croissant sweater with stripes. This is a new creative and exciting way for striped sweaters.
# 2 Brioche ribbed sweater. The mace stitches are excellent in this area and the shape is good.
No.3 Brioche two-tone scarf. Magnificent! I like the two-tone effect and the stitching and shape… epo, all in fact.
# 04 Folded quilt hood. I like the tweedy effect and differ from this.
# 5 Raglan Sweater with two colors Model Brioche. Not bad. I think there is a happier color combination than this.
# 6 Balaclava. I'm afraid I'll never be able to go with the lid on. There were unfortunate connections: the Crimean War, grocery store raids, prophylaxis (not that condoms with the first two points should be classified as a bad thing, but they were not really known or appreciated for their aesthetics).
The Crest # 7 Hood model that can be doubled as a hood is a much more interesting option than a hood. This model was first released in 1986 and was ahead of its time as it could be worn as a hooded sweatshirt or hood and a knitted hood was unheard of at the time.
# 8 Striped hood. Pom poms add a clown touch.
# 9 Sweater raglan ulet. I will change the cut a little.
# 10 Flare lace sweater trim I know it's supposed to be a swing style, but I will change it to fit busts and hips. The oscillation silhouette is difficult to draw.
# 11 Dolman long vest. This will not satisfy most women. It does not work on this pro model either.
# 12 Sweater with shoulder. I usually suggest adjusting the crooked shoulders, but in this case, where alignment is the most important and almost the only design feature, I recommend choosing another model.
# 13 Handkerchief with melted triangle. A simple envelope with enough technical details to look presentable.
# 14 Raglan sweater with stripes. I like the look of the croissant ribbons, which is the theme of this issue. And in this case I also like the color.
# 15 Sweater with pearl necklace. It's something different, perhaps not surprising given that it's by Nicky Epstein, known for his weird patterns. I like it. It looks more like a poncho than a sweater, but with better lines than usual for a poncho, and the contrasting colors and stripes and the “pearl necklace” stitching are perfect for a striking look. But I recommend doing it with a hood instead of a flat collar.
# 16 Set of hats and veil. Attractive and portable set. The sewing is excellent and the translucent embellishment with contrasting colors adds a lot.
# 17 Nail hats. This is such an elegant and attractive bean that I hope its designers continue to make it into a sweater.
# 18 Winding loops. I like sophisticated polishing on this.
# 19 Coat with hood. This hood looks great with a coat ... and very uncomfortable without it.
# 20 Card with Brioche Stripes. I remember when this pattern was first published in Vogue Knitting 's Winter 1992/1993 and I had a problem in my knitting pattern library. I loved her then and I love her now.
