Vogue Knitting Late Winter 2018: A Review

Vogue Knitting released the late winter 2018 issue and featured actress Krysten Ritter on the cover. Ritter appeared twice on the Facebook page of this blog : when he went to look for a journalist, he was interviewed while shopping and then gave him knitting classes ; he later taught Stephen Colbert to make the point (or when he dared to teach) while appearing on The Late Show . I already loved Ritter for her attractive screen presence and admired her performance, so her passion for the gospel for our work was welcome. Let’s take a look at the knitwear she modeled for us (and in one case she designed it herself!) And the other creations in this issue, right?

Model no. 1, high neck dress. If you are depressed and tired of seven children who have studied at home, and the only social relationship with other adults is calling your mother every night and crying because you can’t sleep with your children, this is for you.

Model no. 2, wired knitted cardigan. The seams in this section are fine, but not the lines and overall shape. It has a visual appearance, is heavy on the ground and without shape.

Model 3 sweater with color block pattern. Whistle. Vogue Knitting looks very clumsy with this problem.

Model no. 4, crooked sweater. Classic knitted sweater.

Model no. 5, woven knitted sweater. I prefer that the designer took the classic cable sweater differently by changing the direction of the threads.

Two-tier network model no. 6. The designer of this sweater gave an innovative look by putting a cropped top layer on top of the layers, but I don’t think it worked. I kept looking and thought there must be a shrinkage or missing thread in the construction and it is never a good reaction to a knitted design.

Model no. 7, Krysten easy sweater. Respect Krysten Ritter’s modeling skills, but I don’t really care about design. I would fix the dropped shoulders, add some sizes and make sure I make this sweater with interesting threads to give this very simple design the strength it needs when Krysten Ritter doesn’t need it.

Model 8, loose raglan. I have greatly improved the adaptation of this. The shape of the arms seems to start at the waist, and even the Pro models who wear them don’t quite understand.

Model number: 9, simple cardigan. This is another part of the “depressed, tired, home-educated seven-year-old mother” style.

Model 10, sweater with rice stitch. In theory, I'm not against large pearl-necked turtles, but the truth is that there are great turtles with a "calm and comfortable shape" and then large ones that fit "like home and at any time." , if you fall, turn around. Guess what.

Model no. 11, collecting the ball. It’s fun in its own way, but I can’t imagine wearing a scarf of that size and volume. I would tend to make these “wraps” a little bigger and then leave them on the couch.

Model no. 12, great cold package. It’s a beautiful piece and is meant to be used as a cape, but it would be another piece that feels out of place on the couch.

Model number: 13, thick cardigan. He is very ill-fated and rests. I looked at the store that would carry me the most.

Knitted cable model no. 14. Another classic rope sweater, this time in a standard size.

Scheme n. 15, Brioche sweater. This piece reminds me of Dakota Fanning's amazing puffy sleeve outfit from the 19th century. set in The Alienist drama of the late 19th century , but despite being an interesting and quirky piece with wonderful knotted seams, it may need some adjustments to make it more beautiful. I will fix my flattened shoulders and make my body a little longer and more comfortable to balance the arms of those legs.

Model No. 16 Chevron Lace Vest. The lace and hand-dyed threads used here are wonderful, but these last unstructured pieces never speak to me.

Model no. 17, Feather cap. Imaginative, quirky and portable.

Model number: 18, waterfall shawl. This is another scarf that looks like a sofa, your Aunt Myrtle. This piece will help you color in a solid color, or at least the “Afghan Grandma” coloring, as the lace is quite attractive.

Model no. 19, Domino Zapia. Attractive, portable and contemporary envelopes that look sure to belong to one person.

Pattern of handkerchief number 20. The beautiful texture and attractive structure of this scarf is not surprising, as Nicky Epstein designed it with great imagination.
