Vogue Knitting Late Winter 2020: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published its end-of-winter 2020 issue . Let's see, shall we?
№ 01, stacked trays. When I saw a photo of this design on the LCD website, I thought about what the coffee shop looked like. And then, after visiting his Ravelry page, I found out that it's actually the work of Cafe Facet. Its aesthetic is as unique as fingerprints. The blanket patterns are an interesting point and the colors are as simple as ever.
№ 02, Sunday branch. Very discreet and comfortable casual garment. The necklace is fine.
# 03, tea time. The cardigan is great, but I don't know how I feel about the standard combination of a cardigan and a v-neck (attached) collar. It seems a little silly to me, but then it's a new look, and sometimes I put on a new look that is light (or tired) at first after getting used to what I didn't like.
№ 04, aperitif time. I don't have to be subtle in this photo - I love it and carry it alone. I am reminded of Joan Holloway's quote from the 1960s: "Men love scarves". (Of note, I don't think men find scarves particularly attractive to women, and 15-20 years later freer Joan Holloway Harris said, " I love scarves").
# 05, striped shirt. It has an attractive and elegant modern look. Although I suggest removing / adjusting the drawing, in this case I will not, as I think it is a drawing that requires loose shapes and geometric lines.
№ 06, Flu current. It depends on the region of Afghanistan, but I think it falls under the dress code. I prefer the way they set it up.
№ 07, Ringwald. Classic cardigan open on the front.
№ 08, Ice Pop. I like the tartan pattern, but I'll fix the stems. I'm not crazy about colors, but some Nitta models stick to color / thread. Choosing your favorite color is part of the fun of knitting your own garment.
№ 09, Vibration. Not bad. I would not recommend adjusting a lower shoulder, as in this case I think the brooch seam line works, but I would suggest a new color as it burns the retina a bit.
№ 10, Geady. That's right, with a bright abstract detail of the yoke.
№ 11, Gamin. Comfortable shirt "at home".
№ 12, Kyoto. This scarf is basically an example of beautiful sewing. Sure, it's better to wear a double than a "bottom bath", but I used this image to see the seams.
В „- 15, Miss Susan. This necklace itself is a beautiful thing, but I don't know how to wear it. I don't like the style here - I think Krunn will fit this sweater around the neck.
№ 16, Wentworth. With the final sample (“Lady Susan”) we enter Jane Austen's design section, where it becomes an ancient aesthetic. This braid is a nice adjustment and will add a classic spirit to the drummer's outfit.
В „- 17, Miss Bingley. It has the shape of a sack covered with rope. Sick Caroline Bingley not only had Mr. Darcy, but of course ... I had to intervene.
№ 18, Maryland. I like. It is beautiful and practical.
Turtleneck with neutral transmission cable. This is an "archival" design, published in the 2002 issue of Special Men magazine. It is a classic men's clothing.
a little salt. Another reissue, this time a 1986 issue. It's as old as the previous model, so no. But these are men's suits.
