Vogue Knitting Late Winter 2020: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published a publication in late winter 2020 . Let's see, right?
# 01, Overlapping patches. When I saw the preliminary photo of this design on the VK page, I thought how similar it was to the Kaffe Fassett model. And then, when I looked at the Ravelry page, I discovered that it was actually Kaffe Fassett's work. The aesthetics are as unique as a fingerprint. Patchwork design is a fun knitting trend and the colors are gorgeous as always.
# 02, Sunday lunch. Very sleek, casual and relaxed fit. The neck fits.
# 03, tea time. The cardigan is good, but I'm not sure if I like the combination of the standard (glued) collar with the V-neck of the cardigan. It seems a bit silly to me, but then it's a new look, and sometimes I get bored (or just tired) of the new look, which I didn't like at first when I got used to it.
# 04 Cocktail Hour. There is no need to underestimate this look, I really like it and will wear it myself. It reminds me of Joan Holloway's 1960 joke: "Men love scarves." " I love the scarf").
05, striped sweater. It is an attractive and stylish modern look. While I tend to suggest increasing the fit / shape of the design, I will not do it in this case as I think this is a design that requires free form and geometric lines.
No. 06, Neon Stream. This borders the territory of Afghanistan, but I think it does not go beyond wearing clothes. I like the way they designed it better.
# 07 circular forest. Classic cardigan with open front.
# 08, frozen popcorn. I like tartan, but I would adjust the outstretched shoulders. I'm not crazy about color schemes, but a few knitters use pattern / yarn colors. Choosing the color you like is part of your knitting fun.
# 09, humor. Not bad. I would not recommend fixing the bump as I think the croissant stitching made it work in this case, but I would suggest a new color scheme as this is a bit hot on the retina.
No. 10, geodesy. Very similar to this with bright abstract flirty details.
Nr. 11, Games. Comfortable sweater "for home".
Nr. 12, Kyoto. This hat is basically a beautiful crochet pattern. Sure, it looks twice as well worn as the house perforated bathroom style, but I used this photo so you can see the seams from the inside.
Nr. 15, Mrs. Suzan. The necklace itself is beautiful, but I do not know how people will wear it. I do not like the style here, I thought a sweater around the neck would go better with this collar.
Number 16, Wentworth. With the latest model ("Lady Susan") we have entered the Jane Austen design category, where aesthetics belong to the past. The embroidery on this mantle is beautiful and adds a touch of historical drama to a classic dress.
Number 17, Miss Bingley. This looks like one of the smallest patterns in Knit Simple . Poor Caroline Bingley not only did not wear Mr. Bingley. Darcy, he too had to endure it.
Nr. 18, Morland. I love it Beautiful and practical.
Neutral sweater with woven collar collar. This is an "archived" model that first appeared at a menswear event in 2002. It's a classic menswear.
cable network. Another reprint, this time from the 1986 holiday edition. It is old and also of the previous sample, i.e. none. But here is a menswear for you.
