Vogue Knitting Spring & Summer 2019: A Review

Vogue Knitting has released its Spring Summer 2019 issues, but before I take a look at the designs within, I would like to point out that Trisha Malcolm, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Knitting , has retired. He moved to a new position at MezCrafts, Rowan Yarns' parent company . After more than twenty years at Vogue Knitting , I wish him every success in his career! I know I will never forget the first time I saw someone named Trisha Malcolm on the Facebook page of this blog because I recognized the name right away, but I thought it couldn't be Trisha Malcolm. , and with a click of the screen, yes, I almost drowned proving it to be so. It will also be interesting to see if Vogue Knitting has changed under anyone else's leadership, and if so, how it will be.

model number. 1, ear scarf. Perfect for brides!

model number. 2, striped lace dresses. Simple and portable. I thought it would be appropriate to add a belt to the look because without it the waist would look a little sad and empty.

Reason #3, diamond tunic. Nice and spacious. I shrug my shoulders and play with arm length because it looks a bit odd, although, like in this test shoot, nobody will if the wearer is adding a besedka-sized hat to the look. . Warning.

model number. 4, knitted robe. It seems very difficult to correct myself, although I have to admit that the lines are thin and as with embroidery, this is the result.

model number. 5, Skirt lace mini dress. It has a certain boho chic to it.

model number. 6, cropped sweater with eyelids. It was really a pity to install it - even this professional model could not get it to work despite best efforts. You can change the pattern to make it fit better...or you can use a different touch pattern. You are rich!

Pattern number 7, beaded scarf. Not bad, although there are better yarn and bead combinations.

model number. 8, pink cardigan. It's a beautiful piece with a romantic, slightly delicate touch and a certain talent, but unfortunately it reminds me a lot of the set of cross-stitched pink Aida pads I gave my mother when I was 17. then it broke after using it once after washing it in the washing machine even though I told him it can't be machine washed and if I went to the next look without saying anything else maybe you will all understand.

model number. 9, with upper eyelid. Excellent summer ball with beautiful lines and beautiful embroidery.

model number. 10, asymmetrical shirt. Elegant and modern.

model number. 11, patterned shirt. He's very smart. This sportswear from the 1930s is combined with modern cuts and is a successful combination.

model number. 12, Tiered V-neck bodice. It has a comfortable and minimalist elegance.

model number. 13, sweater with drop point. It has a very interesting open toe effect, but I can't help but wonder how it 's all going to hold up. I will shrug.

model number. 14. Mixed Yoke Sweater. I love everything about this amazing Fair Isle design except for the chicken wire ribbon which I will be buying for something solid. In any case, the design requires an undergarment, which limits its usefulness for summer wear.

model number. 15, square shirt. I love it with open seams and a deconstructed vibe. Undoubtedly, it deserves more than a rock from a scrap metal box.

model number. 16, balloon ball with lace on the back. I like the side body, fun threaded accent edges, and sleek tie clip, and it definitely deserves a better color combo.

model number. 17, pullover with patched yoke. I like this concept, it's actually pretty cool, but the edges of the front patch look too unfinished to really work. I'll overcome them somehow.

model number. 18, striped sweater. This mesh cut has always been very similar to a mesh tote bag to really succeed as a fashion design.

model number. 19, Tangram style dress. This one makes a sound "Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" da me quando l'ho visto per la prima volta sul sito at Vogue Knitting . The lines are great, the "you can't miss it" design is awesome, and it's a must-have. I can't say color has much to do with it, but after 6 months it will be worth checking out the Ravelry member template page for this design.

model number. 20, lace tunic with eyebrows. This model is from Vogue Knitting Spring & Summer 1999, and isn't it amazing how modern it is twenty years later? I have it in my personal touch library, I bought it at the time but I never did. While it looks better than a yoke, my concern about the fit is the weight of the DK and the extra material that makes it great. However, as this part is round and has a lace pattern throughout, it can be difficult to figure out how to shape the body (this can mean a straight knit under the sleeves and requires side seams, which will be awkward) and end up with a generous one joke you may have to accept.

model number. 21. Garden flower shelf sweater. Very well!
