Vogue Knitting Spring & Summer 2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released the Spring Summer 2019 edition, but before we look at the models in it, I would like to quickly state that long- time Vogue Knitting editor Trisha Malcolm is retiring to play a new role at MezCrafts. Rowan Yarns parent company . Best wishes for a career change in Vogue Knitting for over twenty years! I know I will never forget the first time I saw a person named Trisha Malcolm on this blog . Hyper ventilated when one click confirms that. Also, it will be interesting to see if Vogue Knitting is changing and leading someone else.
Reason No. 1, Scarf with eyes. Perfect for a bride!
Model number. 2, lace dress. Easy and portable. I think it would be a good decision to complete the look with the belt because without it the waist would look a little sad and loose.
Robe Model No. 3 With diamond pattern. Beautiful and airy look. I open my shoulders and play with the length of my sleeves because it still seems a little difficult, although no one will notice if you add a pavilion-sized hat to the picture, as the lucky one did in this photo.
Model number. 4, Crunch blanket. Although the lines are good and as a result of the craftsmanship, this seems to me to be interesting.
Model # 5, mini dress with lace hem. This has a certain boho chic atmosphere.
Short sweater model n. 6 With eyes. Setting up only is complicated, and this professional model will not work, no matter how hard you try. We can change the pattern to make it more attractive ... or we can just use a different sweater design. Your call!
Model number. 7, Pearl Scarf. Although there is a better combination of wool and grains, it is not a small fabric.
Model number. 8, Rose Cardigan. It is a soft, romantic and beautiful piece, but sadly it reminds me a lot of Aida placemats with a cross-stitch pattern I found when I was 17 years old. And then they broke down once used in the washing machine, although I told them they could not wash the machine and maybe if I went to the next review without saying anything, everyone could help.
n Imaginary 9, body with eyelids. Good summer with nice lines and seams.
Unbalanced Tank Top Model # 10. Chick and modern.
Model number. 11 Model Tank. He is very good. Here, the 1930s sportswear complements the trend and is a fun combination.
Reason No. 12, V-neck top This is a classic and minimalist beauty.
Model number. 13 Drop knitted sweater. It has a beautiful open-end effect, but I can't beat how it sticks to anything . So I said up.
Model number. 14, mixed yoke sweater. I love everything about this amazing Fair Island design, except for the open work crunch strip that I trade in for something stronger. Similarly, the design needs some support, which limits its usefulness for summer clothes.
Square T-shirt Model No. 15. I really like this, with exposed stitches and the unfinished side. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
Model number. 16, the tip of the bubble tied behind the back. I like this style with its eye-catching, pleasing edges and bow details, and definitely deserves a better color.
Model number. 17, Jumper with Pach's work yoke. I like the concept here, it is really nice, but the edges of the front joints are really a little hard to work with. It benefits them in one way or another.
Model number. 18, Slip-on shirt. These embroidered pieces still look like a net bag to make them truly popular as clothing designs.
Model number. 19, Tangram style dress. This "Oooooh!" Raised a voice. When I first saw it on the Vogue Knitting website. The lines are nice, the design is eye-catching, and the piece is wearable. I can't say that painting does much for that but in six months the sample pages of this design will be something to look at.
Model number. 20, lace dress with buttons. This is the design of the Spring / Summer 1999 edition of Vogue Knitting and it is no wonder how modern it is twenty years later. When I bought the edition at the time, I was in a private textile library without doing so. Although the yoke looks good on the body, I am concerned about the fit on the body - it is a DK weight and that extra material will be bigger. But since this piece is made in a circle and has a lace pattern, it can be difficult to find a way to shape the body (which means it needs to be turned into a flat sweater and sewn under the sleeve) and possibly accept the luxury lines.
Model number. 21, towing with a garden flowerpot. very nice!
