Vogue Knitting Winter 2019/2020: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released its winter 2019/2020 edition ! Let's see this, shall we?
Pattern 1, lines. Very nice textured case. I love that the style is very similar to 1986, but if it really was 1986 , the Casual and Hairstyle jacket would be big enough for three women.
Template number 2, java. It's... lots of hats. But I don't mind the hat design other than that, so this might be the perfect product for those who like to be bigger or bald.
Pattern No. 3, haircut/duck. Simple, comfortable, great cover with bamboo stitching.
Template #4, Scale. The oversized dress is by no means my bag (see what I did in there?), but I have to admit it was well designed, although I can't help but admire how stunning she looks on the couch. I love the color scheme and the triangular rhythmic pattern.
Pattern No. 5, double-sided cloak. Basic but useful.
Pattern 6, beautiful. It reminds me of the long open top my mom wore around the house in the early '80s: it also had 3/4 sleeve and hand pockets that wouldn't fit when my mom wasn't working. kitchen. It's a very comfortable and practical item that could be designed in different ways, though I'd say I can't help but pull a stupid short sleeve. I'll raise my pocket a little.
Model number 7, grandpa. This really helped me - it reminds me of Mao's jacket. I think this design might call for a very interesting and/or beautiful yarn, as it requires a bit of wooma.
Template 8: Multitasking. I'm going to improve on the shoulder pockets and I think there are better color choices for this style, but other than that, this design is easy to carry and can make a good storage aid.
Pattern 9, gradient. I'd open my pocket and tweak it a bit, but other than that, it's a sophisticated, modern and attractive piece.
Style No. 10, people's sweater. Well, that's another matter. I love it - not only is it so bright, but let me take a look and check all the details.
Inscription No. 11, mustache. Beautiful and the cable pattern is beautiful.
Style 12, Echo. Classic lace robe.
Pattern No. 13, Tree. Another great cable chapel. I mean, just go after these complicated wires.
Model No. 14, new. A design note on the Ravelry page compares the popular colors of Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. I don't agree, which would be great, but I'm afraid he'll do it all.
Style #15, whip. Lovely jacket, though I'll fix those sagging shoulders.
Form No. 16, Herald. A very elegant pullover. Despite being a winter version, Vogue Knitting seems to be heading for spring with some of its designs.
Pattern No. 17, topiary. Funny postcard.
Style No. 18, Cableman. This is an archival sample, first published by Vogue Knitting in 1962, republished in 1985 and featured again in this issue. Despite all the drastic changes in fashion since 1962, I don't think it's been a year since its first publication when it looked old. This is the longevity of the classic pullover.
