Vogue Knitting Winter 2019/2020: A Review

Vogue Knitting has published its winter issue 2019/2020 . Let's see, okay?

Detachment No. 1, special. Very beautiful fabric case. I’m glad the 1986 style is too much, or if it was really 1986, the sweater and hair models would be big enough for three women.

Model №2, Java: It's ... a lot of hats. But I have no problem making hats, so this one can suit anyone who likes to grow up or walk barefoot.

Pattern № 3, decor / texture: large, simple and comfortable cup with bamboo stitches.

Template # 4, scale. Heavy, scattered ponchos - not at all my bags (you see what I did there), but I have to admit it was well done, although I couldn’t help but wonder how much better we would look on the couch. . I like the color scheme and the rhythmic pattern of the triangle.

Reverse model of Klein coil № 5: simple but useful.

Model № 6, exquisite. It reminds me of a long open jacket that my mom wore at home in the early 80s. Kitchen. It’s a very useful and practical subject that can be molded into many different shapes, or I’d say I can’t get away from the absurdly short wings. I would shrug a little.

Stencil № 7, grandfather. It’s too helpful for me. It reminds me of Mao’s jacket. I think maybe this design requires interesting and / or especially beautiful carvers as it requires a bit of noise.

Model № 8, Multitasking - I would fix the stoop, and I think that for this model there are better color options, but otherwise this design is quite comfortable and easy to correct.

Template №9, Gradient. He raises his lowered shoulder, flattening it slightly, but otherwise it’s a sleek, modern detail that catches the eye.

Pattern № 10, a popular sweater. Well it’s different. I like it, it is not only very attractive, but also makes you look at it, checking all the details.

Pattern No. 11, Usik. Beautiful, and the cable pattern is fantastic.

Model No. 12, comments. Classic lace cover.

Model No. 13, gazebo. Another great little cable tie. I mean, look yourself in the eye with this tricky cable.

Model № 14, modern. Notes on the Ravelry website for this design compare it to the famous floral arrangements of Scottish stylist Charles Rene Mackintosh. I do not agree, it is, of course, a beautiful deed, but I am afraid it will succeed.

Template No. 15, crown. Beautiful blouse, otherwise I would have dropped it off my shoulders.

Model № 16, Bulletin. Very attractive sweater. Although it’s a winter edition, Vogue Knitting seems to be looking to spring with some of its designs.

Model № 17, Topiary. What a sweet tale.

Model № 18, Cableman. This is an “archival” model, first published by Vogue Knitting in 1962, republished in 1985 and republished in this issue. Despite all the big changes in fashion since 1962, I don’t think at least a year has passed since its first publication. This is the durability of a classic knitted sweater.
