Cast On Fall 2018: A Review

Cast On has released a Fall 2018 issue. Let's see, okay Arabs?

Austrian travel hat. Classic cable holster.

Bavarian shirt for children and adults. Overall, it's pretty decent, but I'll definitely correct these slouch shoulders.

saddle basket. Not so enthusiastically until it has been tested on this model. It looks awkward. I'm going to reduce the depth and finish the same as the cuffs. The details on the sleeves are enough to show off this design.

Bavarian column socks. These are the most beautiful socks I have ever seen.

Bavarian style cap. Very attractive wired hood. It scares me a bit though, because it looks like it was created by the headless knight.

maple jumper It is not very interesting, but it can be seen in a strange way. I would straighten up my slouch shoulders, maybe go for a more finished edge, and not even use white, cream, or other pale tones as the main color for this design. In my experience, adding color to a pale background never works because human floaters are always visible, as you can see here.

Bird jacket. This is a great piece because the knit lace threads are knitted on a size 0 needle because it is knitted on a size 0 needle. The shoulders have sagged a bit but I think it works for this particular design. .

Modern Grain I'm not selling on a color palette here, but it has a beautiful traditional design and can easily be done in a more attractive striped color or even a solid color.

Also a three-sided headdress and headband. These fabrics have a very nice texture.

Evora. Wow, it's glamorous and totally wearable. Woven with two strands to make the body opaque, the sleeves are sheer, and the sleeves and skirt have a subtle, slightly lacy look that complements them perfectly. I just have to do it myself.

wedding jacket One of the amazing things about this is, of course, that it deserves a better color than the old purple.

Reusable sleight of hand scarf. Some good cables work in this case.

Loudon jumper. I like the sleeves and side details, but would have preferred the skirt and full neckline to the one used here.

It covers the Morro Bay Golf Club. They are very well made and any golf club with their range would surely be the fanciest club in town.

spins in orbit. It looks cool and useless.

Patrick's jacket. I love this stitch.

Triple Braided Cable All in all, a beautiful piece. I don't know what happened to the mid-neck stripe effect, but I would have left it no matter what because it looked weird and distracting.
