Knitting Traditions 2018: A Review

Today we take a look at the 2018 edition of Knitting Tradition .

Anne Veronica cardigan. I like the lace, but the front edges of this design don't match well.

Ballet Russe cover. Fantastic!

Upper slope line. This top has a shawl hem that features a vintage design that seems to be revived at the moment. I'm all for reviving the charming design styles of the past, but I'll find that the scarf hem usually doesn't sit on the buttocks. It might not be the prettiest design for most women, but I have to admit, it's a lovely detail that goes down well due to its slanted design.

Cocoa sachet. Small classic lace scarf.

collection bag This cute and beautiful modern bag pays homage to the history of Girl Guides and their collection of natural patterns.

top directory. Attractive sweater and very comfortable to wear.

Plaid "journey's end". Another guide-inspired piece, this simple plaid scarf design is knitted from a pretty clever and practical guide. (No, not really, but I couldn't help but shout out Adams Wednesday .)

A set of jewels with Macintosh leaves. I have never been able to tackle wire jewelry because no matter how good the design is, it never looks like jewelry. Tie this set together with string and beads and your child will have something different than what they brought home from arts and crafts camp.

Chapel of the Royal Cross Orthodox Church. With wrought iron wire and nice details, it's a stunning piece.

Shiapareli shawl. It's fun and sporty.

cardigan sheep station Good shape and I like the combinations of textures and lace.

sports sailor. I like the marine style and I like this product in general, but I look at this cord and wonder how rough and finished it is. I prefer to make the appropriate straps and buttons, or rip them off completely and just tie the knot where the two sides of the neck meet.

Suffragettes dress up. It has very interesting details, but I'm not thrilled with how the leading edges fit together.

Traveler sweater. Okay, but I think I'd like to walk around the backyard so everyone can see more interesting butts. I also want this pleated skirt.

Henley Alloy Line. Oh, beautiful! And it's a good thing that it's almost confusing to the eye to think that there are two complex parts.

Turn and turn. The zigzag lace is good, but I can't say it cares about the edges. he looks so rough

hood wing and key. Very attractive design. The patterns of keys, bees and butterflies are a reference to the science that has begun to unravel the mysteries of nature. My first thought was that the clues were actually sperm, and that sperm, butterflies, and bees foreshadowed life events.
