In the Bag
Last week I uploaded a selection of bag patterns and pocket squares; In today's post, I am proposing my selection of bag/wallet designs. I have published articles on individual models of bags , backpacks and backpacks .
The image above shows a mini backpack and tote bag designed by Talita Kuomi . After perusing the 65 page bag design on Ravelry to find all eighteen designs in this article, I can tell you that I recommend using handles, bark, and other commercially produced accessories to complete the handcrafted bags. Changes the scene from "home" to "polish". This bag wouldn't be as stylish without a belt and buckles. As the choice of belts, handles and accessories can be limited I recommend buying them before you start a project, maybe even before you choose your thread as completing a project can be very frustrating. Additional equipment. I also recommend lining the bags whenever possible, although no patterns are needed (these bags are lined ), not just with a durable lining fabric that can be washed, but with a strong lining and possibly wadding if needed. To size the bag. It usually requires the use of a home sewing machine and at least basic sewing skills.
Damask bags from the Beroco design team. Felt is another recommended aspect for handmade bags as it makes the bag much more durable than knitting alone. And it can be used to create interesting visual effects. I like the damask flower in this bag, the handles match it very well and the braided cord adds a lot too.
Pocket Vikings , Karen S. Camp. Classic bag. An interesting selection of yarns and accessories will significantly soften the look of the "knitted bag".
Snowden Baker Billington bag . How beautiful is this bag? The simple choice of shape and color of sewing gives everyone the necessary interest.
The Sinch , Nora J. Bellus. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. A small metallic tag is nice.
Molly's matte bag by Cricket Tommy. This bag is very cute and stylish to wear with the suit . If my enthusiasm for this quality seems overwhelming, then you weren't sitting with me as I flipped through the aforementioned 65 pages of bag designs on Ravelry, the pesky part of which looked odorless. paper bag with strap.
Felt wallet "Tree of Life ", Cindy Pilan. The exception to my "make commercially available accessories and belts" advice is if you want to get the same look, which of course you'll only find with handles of the same thread.
Tote bag with trellis valve by Diane Sutlef. It makes a lot of fun. Such yarn will turn the bag with unique Noro colors.
Check the bag. Oversized felt goosefoot effect associated with beautiful shape.
That's you, Mr. Morris , Jenny Tabram. Here is another interesting bag with an attractive felt pattern and a nice shape.
Flower felt bag by Nicky Epstein. I think I would have recognized Nicky Epstein's drawing if I had met him in the dark. She loves fantasy and patterns inspired by home furnishings.
Karen Pesant's Wishbone cable pouch . The wiring in this case is attractive and the shape is good.
Bow to me , Bonnie Golding. It will be interesting to choose a yarn/fabric combination in this project.
junior dr Ship Clark's bag . The silk herringbone used here is very beautiful with a classic shape.
Lacey Leaf handbag from Palm Powers. Very beautiful and unusual bag.
Evelyn Caroll Gallaso. Reinforcing flat-felt straps with fabric is another option for handles, and a good one as this bag can certainly be considered "commercially made and sold at an expensive fashion store".
Handbag Magnolia , Sini Huppenen. Felt bags make a great canvas for awesome embroidery designs if you want to. Its magical
Checked felt bag by Cindy Pilan. Another super cute bag. Create this bag in a woman's favorite color palette and it will be a perfect and useful accent to her wardrobe.
