Interweave Knits Winter 2019: A Review

Interweave Knits has released the 2019 Winter Edition , and it's science fiction! We'll see.

Newspaper sweater. This drawing, based on the periodic table of elements, is nice, but I'm not too attached to it. The table looks a bit rough and ready.

Rhizome sweater. Very well. The pattern "depicts underground logs and root structures" which creates an elegant flowing pattern.

O-Chem Tunic. Big! The organic chemical inspired hex braid is so sexy and in great shape and I love the cleavage.

Atomic sweater. This time, another cable model based on atomic orbitals is as appealing as the previous one.

Asteroid B 612 scarf. Inspired by the boy's scarf from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry 's Little Prince, this scarf is beautifully cut. I'm not so exasperated by the deep skirt at the end of the scarf that it looks like this model's arm is wrapped around her neck.

Seasoning for the Cradle of the Stars. Inspired by a photo of the Pillars of Creation taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, it's a truly stunning piece, though I'd rather put it on the couch than wear it.

Sweater with Saturn rings. Extending the yoke pattern towards the center was a nice touch and gives it a modern and trendy look.

Chrysalis sweater. It's different and it's an interesting and elaborate design, but I can't help but think it looks a bit bulkier and unwieldy.

Crystal sweater. The fine shape, the neckline and the details on the bodice attract attention and attract attention.

DNA sweater. Attractive woven fabric for twin helix fans.

STELO vest. Good cables and if it's on the front it's pleasantly soft and warm, although not at all exhausted.

Celia cardigan. It's not my usual type, but I like it. Even though it is completely modern, it is reminiscent of 1918.

Sedimentary rider. Its creator was inspired by "layers of geological sediment in rocks", but I admit that it reminds you, as well as the perfect "stylish but charming" striped sweater.

Arge Humeralis sweater. This is one of the few styles where the dropped shoulder and cropped sleeve really work. It has a funny but attractive look.

Solidago hat and headgear set. I'm not sure about the style of the split hood, but I think it looks cool and would look better under a coat than the regular hood style, and I love this outfit overall.

Dionaea Muscipula vest. Attractive and different.

Lab shirt. This is one of the coolest men's sweaters I've ever seen. This is definitely a fresh take on the chest stripe design that is ubiquitous in men's sweater designs.

Single field coverage. This cover is good. You're better off sporting a unique cut rather than a "faded bladder" fold around your neck, but we might not even see that.
