Rowan 40 Years: A Review
Rowan celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special collection of 40 styles from around the world. Only six of those years have I reviewed their models, so I've either reviewed their annual release or reviewed some models a second time. Just for fun I attached the first design review from 2012 and said I won't keep my word. When I started working on this revamp, I expected Rowan to go back over the last 40 years to introduce a range of models for the next four decades. But they didn't. Many of these models appear to have been made in the last twenty years, only once since 1990. He went to the Museum of Modern History and estimated half the exhibition was closed. But I understand why Rowan's producers did it. Fashion has not changed much in the last twenty years, it is easy to choose fashionable and attractive models in the 2018 standard of the last two decades, but wearing them requires serious adjustments of the last twenty models, especially many sweaters. . pay for new prints. You don't have to work.
Oz This is a 2000 model. It's such a simple classic that I'm sure it will look dated one day.
Anise Shaul. This bundle looks like it's from 2009. This beautiful shawl will definitely not go out of style.
winter flower. A D. Here is a design from 2000. I like the low floral look, the egg is beautiful, it's good to go with that color palette.
Orkney This cardigan is from 2012. When I reviewed it in 2012 I said I liked it overall, I complained about how the edges open below the neckline. It's true that placing the sweater on the model in the main production frame didn't benefit the design. He's fine here.
Carlota since 2004. At first glance, this model may seem more accurate. I think it was the early 1980s, I suppose it could have been without the pearl band, but these retrospectives seem fresher. This is great, but when I do this I've decided to make it without the duct tape beads. The details of the rose are enough for me.
Exaggerated. Better than 2007. I like to play subtle and complex.
Plaid coat. I don't know when this skin was first released as this skin doesn't appear to be on Ravelli. It looks better than the one in the first picture because you can download it for free. I like the details on the necklace and gloves but I don't want them to be too small to look huge.
Evia since 2002. This is a very traditional design in how the lower contrast panel works. It's really refreshing, it transforms into something else.
Inés since 2004. French knots do just that.
Soumak Scarf Pack. When I first reviewed this since 2013 , I said, “Somak Scarf Wrap is truly amazing. Buy yarn and make beautiful afghans. I think that's enough. There's really good texture in there.
I've been writing about Addison since 2012 in my 2012 review. "It was just then that we became aware of it. Make this sweater your favorite color sweater - you get three or four intricate patterns - much more effort and really fun. Catch sweaters." When I started blogging, I didn't review every magazine style like I do today. I still think it's a very elegant open design in wool. And it deserves a more attractive color.
Tilly. Since 1999. Very nice.
Sure Celine. I don't know when this was installed as it doesn't seem to have a Ravelry page. I wonder if this is one of the most frustrating patterns for most women. Even this professional model does not work properly.
Gizley since 2009. A beautiful piece with a delicate texture that adds loads of interest (and warmth) to a simple outfit.
Bresay Hap Shawl from 2007. This afghan style shawl works better than I ever imagined but it still looks older than this one.
Traveller. Attractive and useful packaging since 2010.
Dynamic. Since 1991 And this design is very 1991 as it features a very large cross fit that was ubiquitous at the time. I don't know why we weren't happy with the media search back then. I like the overall design of both sweaters, but I'll be replacing them with a standard waistband.
Valentina has been undeniably impressive since 2010. It was one of those moody moments where he broke out in endless soliloquies to himself.
Pump sprayer for flour. A beautiful and heartwarming scene from 2003. I corrected the setting a bit and the idea I see in one of the Ravelry user photos I see on this page with Ravelry models is that I like a narrow Add ribbon around the neck. , Cape Lashes.
Kintyre. I've been writing that it's a "nice trailer" since 2012 . And I find myself in this bold and contradictory position.
Brocade since 2005. Great. I myself looked at this design for a long time.
Robinia has been in love with the floral style since 2011, but I can't see myself changing it to the default style. But I have to admit that this layout appeals to Ravelry users who love it.
Floors. Since 2004. Very nice. The edges, the beautiful egg, transform the simple little sweater into something beautiful.
Bergley since 2009. beautiful piece
Lidia. Since 2010. The Fair Isle theme is great (it's a cafe front theme after all) but I'll redesign it. In Ravri User Designs, I've seen many Rav users designing the kind of sweaters or leggings with the Fair Island pattern.
Celtic The most attractive wearable jacket since 2006.
it has been in bloom since 2001. Beautiful. This design also comes in the short version of the floral intarsia pattern, but I think the floral look looks better.
Kirkwal Package. Since 2012. That 's what I said in my first message . “I like this scarf, but only in theory. The theory is that it's only worn when you're sitting on the couch and the woman has a cold. In the six years since I've written reviews of the t-shirt design, I've never lost sight of the fact that large spirals look great in professional photos, but are difficult to make in real life. I didn't see many women on the street.
Nebula from 1999. It's a bit small for me personally, but I have to admit that it's portable - it looks great on any Ravelry user who has it.
Midday. That's what I've been saying about the design since 2013. “I wish I could see what's going on at Duri Design. It basically looks like a beanie with the same scarf. I advise you to wear it separately.
Francisco. Here's my recap of 2014. But when I do, I'll adjust it and shrug my shoulders. Today I agree 2014.
Marta since 2000. Wears a classic piece.
Raquenzel has been around since 2003 and for me 2003 means a lot because everything was real back then. It still looks the way it does today and the stitching is amazing.
Flora McDonald I've liked the bold lines since 2001, but I don't like the rounded style.
Calm. Since 2010. It's one of the most beautiful pieces for her.
Monty I don't know when this model was born as there doesn't seem to be a site for Ravelri. It's too big person և. The model spends a lot of time looking elegant.
Wentworth since 2009. Beautiful tank top with an emotional imprint.
Cardigan with a checkered pattern. They love the yarn and plaid patterns, used here since 2000, that go great together but don't mix.
Strawberry. This is a model I found at Ravelli so I don't know when it was first released. It is so beautiful. I like the floral pattern and the border of the picture and the egg is wonderful.
Olive. Since 1999. Very attractive and intelligent.
