Knit Simple Holiday 2017: A Review

Knit Simple released a 2017 holiday edition . Let's see, shall we?

Model No. 01, portable. A simple and useful model.

Model No. 02, Ribbed hat. Not bad. However, I am not happy with the shape of the top.

Model No. 03, cacti. If I had to make one, I would use it as a pillow.

Model No. 04, tea towel made of leaves. This is a fun replacement for regular square kitchen towels.

Model No. 05, long hood. A little rough for my taste.

pattern No. 06, a pillow for a dog; and Model No. 07, Coupling. Can't say I'm interested in the doggy pillow, it just looks sticky and silly. The herd is pretty simple.

Model No. 08, soft top. That's very beautiful. The shape is good, the yarn is good.

Model No. 09, scrubs; and template #10, Erp texture. Kitchen towels and tea towels are good. I like the scarf better, although I think it needs a fringe.

Model no. 11, tangled bun. This hat design gets points for being creative, but the pom-bow look has the effect of a frayed pom-pom.

Model No. 12, wheelchair cover. I don't like the "big bang" look of this cover. The start is not bad, but it deserves better.

Model No. 13, Rainbow Shami. Nice little scarf.

Model No. 14, keychain. I don't think I care that my keys apparently belong to the smallest fan in the world.

Model No. 15, off-the-shoulder top. I'd rather make it with a yarn that's more suitable for the special occasion, like silk or some new yarn. Pairing one of the shoulder designs with a mohair hairdo creates a rather odd look.

Model No. 16, two-tone party blouse. I like the color-block effect of the side panels better, but I don't think I'd be pairing anything in those sweet hues with black leather trim.

Model No. 17, sweater with two textures. Pairing merino yarn with lace yarn creates the effect of a half-eaten bit of moth, which makes me want to remove the item before turning the grains to complete the work.

Model No. 18, top cape. It's quite unique and eye-catching, and it's a great way to add a warm and interesting touch to a simple outfit.

Model No. 19 Back to Top It looks like this sweater realized that the front was too dirty and decided to compensate with a very back vamp. The end result is as successful as overcompensation.

Pattern number 20, crochet top. It's like a video game wallpaper that decided to start a new life as a sweater.

Model No. 21, square of the month CAL. A few nice dots on it and I like the gradient effect, but I'll get rid of those annoying raised dots.

Model No. 22, basketball; and Model No. 23, a basketball court surface. It's a great concept and well presented. I'm sure the little basketball fan in your life would love a blanket and pillow to play with and squat on.

model no. 24, soccer ball; and model no. 25, Batania football field. The idea of a ball and field also works well with football.

Model No. 26, T-shirt; and model no. 27, Batania football field. And here is the football match, which was also well done. However, as a Canadian, I must point out that there is no game of bandy and blanket. I will probably have to design one because I know a little hockey fan who would love it.

Model No. 28, stroller bag. It's not an unattractive bag, but unlined woven bags stretch terribly in my opinion, even when they only fit a few lightweight items.

Model No. 29, striped bag. This bag looks a bit sturdier than the previous one. The designer added gloves and stabilized the wicker bag by stitching the shopping bag, which is a good idea. Make sure the bags you buy and the material match the color. The white gloves seen here do not complement the green and ivory knit bag.

Pattern No. 30, crochet bag. This is not the kind of bag that looks so bad and will be stronger than a knitted bag because crochet is stiffer and less stretchy than knitting. I'll set it up anyway.

Model No. 31, sensory boat bags. This is a handkerchief, which is another way to make a woven bag less stretchy. I think this is a good beach bag.

Model No. 32, a simple bag. This thing is not able to hold something without lying in hell, and there is not much to look at. I would give you a pass.

Model No. 33, large grocery bag. This template is very good. However, I would level it not only to strengthen the bag, but also because I would have no problem displaying the contents of my bag. Not only do women bring home weird french bread and celery sticks from the grocery store, but sometimes we also bring home tampons.
