Knit Simple Winter 2017: A Review

In today's post, we review Knit Simple Winter 2017 .

Style № 1, turtleneck sweater. There's nothing wrong with that objectively, but I'm sure it'll make me feel like lemon curd.

Pattern №2, textured socks. I really don't like these things, they look bad when stretched.

Style №3, vest-scarf. I work a little disorganized. It looks like the edges were folded over accidentally, not intentionally.

Style No. 4, Cozies Cup. I have never seen the benefits of cup warmers that inevitably dry out or need to be spilled and washed down with coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

Template № 5, cap from a hot water bottle. Hot water bottles make more sense because they tend to be unattractive, and what could be more attractive and convenient than a heater tucked into a cute jacket?

Style № 6, softer cable. Not bad, but like most dresses, I can't help but think they'll look better than Afghans.

Style № 7, textured pillows. A beautiful and useful item that will look good on many sofas.

Pattern № 8, lace shawl. Lace is beautiful, but when I had such square scarves, I was always uncomfortable with the style.

Pattern № 9, quilt with a comb. Afghan classics on cable.

Pattern № 10, knitted hood with a ribbed seam. It's very simple, but you can always improve it by creating a beautiful and interesting theme.

Pattern № 11 color blocks. Classic striped hats are useful and a great way to use up leftover yarn.

Pattern № 12 Chevron Hat. This is a spectacular and interesting chevron pattern.

Template № 13, cable cover. Very good standard roof.

Style № 14, Fair Isle hat. Sounds good, although I wouldn't call it an island fair.

Style № 15 bicolor hat with rib. An interesting combination of structure and stripes.

Style № 16, hat-hat. I really don't like the curly edge on this one which gives it an unfinished look.

Style № 17, hat with tassel. not bad. Of course, I prefer brushes to pom poms because I think they are more suitable for adults.

Pattern № 18, polar bear jacket, hat and gloves. The gloves are good, but I don't particularly like either the hat or the jacket, they both look weird and cheesy.

Pattern № 19, polar bear pillow. This is a square polar bear.

Pattern № 20, hat and jacket with a bear. It's very cute without taking on the "too uptight" look of my previous sweater, hat, and gloves.

Style № 21, vest with paddles.
Beautiful texture, modeling and gradient effect.

Style № 22, vest with three-quarter sleeves. I prefer the creative color of this model and the way the front edges sit, but the shape of the body and sleeves is so loose and baggy that the overall look just doesn't work.

Style № 23, narrow scarf. Very beautiful. The border pattern is interesting.

Style № 24, long hat. Very simple, but it works.

Pattern № 25, shawl with a linen knit. I like the effect of the linen stitch, but I don't like the color palette used here. I would also like to paint it.

Pattern № 26, wild hat. Simple but beautiful effect.

Pattern № 27 duvet cover. A good way to keep your baby warm is to give him a place to push and swaddle.
