Vogue Knitting Winter 2017/2018: A Review

Vogue Knitting has released the Winter 2017/2018 issue . Let's see.

Model 01, curved sweater. a good part. The design of the yoke made me think of hieroglyphs. (Also, I spelled "hieroglyphics" correctly on the first try without the help of a spell checker or Google.)

Model 02, Persian yoke sweater. I like this one too. Colors are vivid and unpredictable.

Model 03, off-the-shoulder sweater. I'm not a fan of the clothing cut effect, but I think it works here and the cut looks fun and modern, balanced by the classic shapes.

Model 04, sweater. I like this one in general, but I have removed the mold and the dolls, which will make me completely bored. Can you imagine being caught eating, or trying to hang the bathtub with your hand?

Model No. 05, inverted yoke jumper. It's interesting, but I can't shake the feeling of what's inside.

Model #06 Chevron model option. It's nice. i will clean it

Model 07, Modern Iceland. I like this with its crisp graphic appeal and beautiful build.

Model 08, Fair Island Jersey. Vogue Knitting uses a very interesting yoke design in this issue. I like this one too.

Model #09 Viking Wrap. As regular readers of this blog will know, I have a hard time selling poncho models, but I have to admit that this one is great. If you do a short front like a designer it looks like a sweater, the back and sleeves have all the drama of a coat. And then there is sewing and dyeing, a square with a uterus and a tartan effect with shades of gray and multicolored threads. If a woman walked down the street behind me at this part, I would definitely turn my head to take a look at her, as the design is creative and certainly successful. Bravo.

Model 10, square length sweater. And now from tour de force knit designs... to this one. It seems that... The Home EC project has gone terribly wrong. It rests so firmly on the trunk that it stretches the waist and has a straight hole at the shoulder seam.

Model 11, dress suit. This is also an EC home project, but it looks like it was created by Judy Jetson and will get at least a B.

Model #12 Blue and white jersey. I like that it looks classy and worn.

Model 13, Raglan High Neck. I prefer this. Wearing larger sizes on the neckline and lower body is a nice touch, and the shape is nice and beautiful. It would be a great piece to show off that multi-strand you love.

Model #14, Brioche ribbon cap. Elegant and stylish.

Model # 15, baggy sweater. This is too loose and he doesn't like it. Kudos to the stylists at Vogue Knitting who pulled off this look. Adding a simple silk scarf makes it look elegant.

Model 16, Indigo Ruana and Ivory Square. It seems to me that this is a vest that has lost its purpose in life and should be a scarf or maybe a doormat.

Model 17, t-shirts. In this nice seam, but I'll fix the hanging shoulder.

Model 18, open wire cover. Very nice. I imagined many beautiful threads.

Model #19 Mohair Cardigan. Sadly, instead of ending up in a landfill, it looks like an elementary shop living in the sad hope that a good house will take another hit.

Model 20, Sand Wave Bridge. Looks like Vogue Knitting here offers a poncho pattern I can't stand. This is very pretty and the stitching is great.
