Knitscene Fall 2019: A Review
Knitscene have released their Fall 2019 issue. Let's see, shall we?
lido hat Classic cable cover.
Cardigan along the beach. This is under the afghan cardigan with sleeves.
Bay gloves. It may look simple but the stitching is great.
rebound gloves. Nice gloves on the shoulders, nice thread.
Tidewrap. Charming and classic cover.
Wrap the rear fender. I love the loop effect of the cable and the variety of threads that give this cable a modern look.
over the breakwater. The lace pattern is nice, but it will look more like a jacket than a sandwich panel.
Bass road cover. Pairs perfectly with the matching gloves above.
Change the tide limit. Very interesting case.
steal wavy. Another great coat.
The perfect raincoat. Not bad. Nice shape and interesting details.
sweater on the beach. good part. It would be interesting to choose a color scheme for this.
Attractive protruding hood . I love the blue waves fading against the white.
Jersey along the river. Nice part. The shape is great, the underwired body is a nice change from the regular sweater, and the island yoke has a fresh, contemporary feel.
lagoon scarf. I love the combination of the stitches and the distinctive border color.
Catch the wave cap. Not bad. Interesting combination of weaving and mosaic weaving.
deep sea rap Not to say appealing, it has the feel of an Afghan thrift store, but I think that might be an unfortunate color scheme. I've seen her work in colors that didn't contain those variegated brown threads that I can't think of in a non-eschatological analogy.
