Knitscene Spring 2018: A Review
Today we take a look at the Spring 2018 issue of Knitscene .
Aberdeen jumper. Good for everyday look. I'll adjust the dropped shoulders, improve the fit a bit, and maybe add a waist.
Nice vest. I see beauty in the smooth, soft texture of this dress, but I may not fit because I'm unsure how well it fits. I find it a bit suspicious that their Ravelry page doesn't have photos of this design from the front, and I tend to think that this design isn't as good as the pretty lace polo vest.
High neck broom vest . Classic vest with striped collar in a fresh, youthful and modern style.
Upper Carrollton. Basic shirt. The length of the haircut is not suitable for all women, but it is easy to adjust.
Cherry cardigan. A poor fit can be the difference between a stylish sweater and an attractive one. With this, I will correct sagging shoulders and improve fit and shape.

Cotswold sweaters. I love the touches from the stylists who placed beautiful lace on the back of the sweater, leaving the front plain and adding a triangular section to the knit. Gives this eye-catching sweater an unexpected twist.
Fulteron sweater. I will adjust the dropped shoulders and improve the one-touch fit.
Annoying sweaters. I love the quality of this one, the raglan neckline and the sleeves. I'm not a big fan of the box length, but if you also prefer a slimmer shape and standard length, it's easy to customize.
Hillwood socks. It's kind of funny in its own way. It mimics a child's blouse, but not too childish to be worn by an adult woman. Normally I would recommend correcting slouch shoulders, but in this case they work with color blocks.
Lea thermal mills. This sweater was inspired by a thermal shirt, and I have to admit the stylist recreated the thermal shirt's waffle pattern to good effect, adding a nice shape. The result is an attractive and worn garment.

Sweater in the city center. I really like it, with a few little tweaks: I'll make the sleeves a mix of green and light gray instead of just green; and I'll work the v from the neck of the v in a different way so it doesn't look like there's a line down the middle.
Top fold. It has a beautiful, airy and pleasant effect. I like the shape and the belt.
Jersey with proven scents. The drape effect lines on this sweater look great. I find the seam in the middle of the sleeve embarrassing, but I don't see how it can be adjusted without damaging the effect of the cover. Instead, I thought I'd drop the sleeves to the elbows and wear striped cuffs.
Savannah sweaters. I don't like too many cuts that look elegant, off the shoulder or heavy long sleeves like armbands. Do you think I like the lace details at the end?
Chief Verona. If you want to wear a sheer mohair sweater over a cute blouse or any other undergarment that becomes outerwear, that's fine. I'll fix a sagging shoulder.
Wilmington jumper. Knitscene is really cool for the lovely boxy design in this version. I don't think this is a good length for most women, but if you're comfortable with it, it's very easy to stretch the sweater pattern to your desired length. This is a very attractive classic sweater.
