Twist Collective March 2018: A Review

In today's article, we take a look at the March 2018 issue of Twist Collective .

Rainier This model has a detailed back, fitted front and side seams. And the tip of the drum, but for some reason I'm not ready to fix it as usual. (I hope that doesn't mean I'm doing worse on the drums, because it's a dangerously slippery slope.) Overall, it's a very decent smooth shape.

Balance. This scarf is "softly beautiful" and "visually interesting".

Verdun. Classic sweater with lace and lace with a very light tambour bottom.

Nymph. It's pretty well packaged.

Gramercy Park. Very nice summer sweater. The lace work is really beautiful.

pendant I love the change to the diagonal lace inserts and bandana inserts on this scarf which makes it a gift.

Maida. The front looks good, but the back looks unlucky.

Inachis. Other string and lace. Not bad. In this model it is a little smaller, which reduces it a little. A good landing is very important.

birder I love this collection of gloves, hats, elegant birds with odd shapes of tree branches. This will be my choice for the cover design.

farnie. Not so excited about it. I'm not a fan of the "button" ring style, as the side edges are stretched (like here), making the sweater too small for its owner. I don't like the effect of the cut edges on the neck, wings or edges because it looks unfinished. The embroidery on the inside is quite attractive, but otherwise this postcard still looks like it should work.

sparkling It is quite attractive. I like the effect of the horizontal lace on the coats, as well as the simple details on the body.

Damsah. It's not up to me to color this "caramel polka dot soup" scarf, but when I look further, I quite like the design. Crochet embroidery tends to be considered "beginner design"; It's always nice to see an experienced designer get a neatly cut and finished crochet design. The egg on this ladder is beautiful so it fits perfectly, the edges are knitted and the decorative thread stretched along the edge is all you need.

Woodbury. Classic lace shirt with good ears.

Forest. He's still so cute. Yours and the embroidery are all good, those contrasting buttons look great. I have a sudden urge to make a spine with fun buttons.

Kimera. It's a bit of an afterthought for my taste, but I must admit this cape is well covered in the images on the Ravelry page of this design, the lace is very eye-catching, it would be interesting to think of a color scheme for this project. .

Brookby. It's a beautiful figure. The hands and the embroidery are good, a little flash of snaps energizes the sweater.

Discover. Another pretty summer card with clever yarn detailing.

calle 42. Classic pair of lace socks.

Italics. It's a decent thing to do, and it should stop there.
