Knitscene Summer 2018: A Review
Nietzsche published a summer 2018 edition. we see
Sir Bag This is a well designed and well made bag. I love the sturdy handles and the beauty of the new Peruvian bag design - and check out this cute alpaca style. They set it up to keep him fit. See, the core is shrinking and there's probably nothing.
Fast socks. An elegant pair of socks.
High hiking trail. So it is shiny, attractive and wearable.
Beachwear At first I thought there might be a bit of yellow in the pattern of the dress, but it actually looks like a bikini line. This dress makes a nice beach cover up, but its clarity may not make it suitable for street wear. Honestly, the name and spelling show it's positioned correctly.
Cube Socks If it was a Pablo Picasso sweater, he would be wearing funny socks.
Vest made of wood. I love the lace in this section but the dress has a tight fit. Nothing worked on a pretty romper model and I can't see adding anything to another outfit.
escape bag. I like the body of the bag and appreciate how much it's strung and reinforced, but the stamping pattern we saw on the Puget bag in our Knit Wear Spring + Summer 2018 review last week doesn't exactly work. This bag - armed style, color and texture contradicts all bags. Also, I can't see any of the sleeves listed above, so I can turn them into a bag by adding a strap and top flap.
On top of the puzzle. Not bad. I can't help but think there are better ways to draw this bodice. It goes without saying that these colors don't work together the way they do, but a more subtle blend can offer a deeper visual design.
Pira Shail. I love the combination of traditional lace and modern yarn.
corrugated cardboard. It's not a bad thing. I'm not a fan of sewing or sewing figs, but this tank will be used as a cover and both work well here.
sand tank. It takes a little while. The shoulder strap is a nice touch. Looks young, but then Nietzsche focuses on the boys . The bottom edge is the band so this piece can be worn or pulled.
Sandy cardigan. This sweet lace cardigan features a beautiful lace pattern and shaul elegance.
Seychelles tanks. The front lace work of this tank top is great, but I'm not crazy about the back. I think I'll leave the straps (I'll resize the back), finish the back with the same edge as the front, and add draw edges to the neckline and armholes.
slide extractor. Blocking colors are fresh and attractive. It would be good to choose a path for this color.
Stack of scarves. I like the idea of this handkerchief, but I can't help but feel like I need something different than ordinary socks in the middle.
The end of the tide pool. This overlay div is responsible for keeping the rest of the page dark. It's absolutely perfect.
Top Tonquin. It's a great package and vice versa so the wearer doesn't have to struggle to get the right one.
The wave tank covers another small beach. I did something different with the collar line and sleeve hole because the neckline looks incomplete and the edges of the drawing on the sleeve look smaller. A plain prime rib would be fine. Beautiful lace on the edges.
Moss stitch sock window. Like this. The seaweed stitch pattern and general contrast lines and toe are the key details of this sock, and the threads chosen for this example work well together.
