Knitty Spring + Summer 2018: A Review
Knitty Spring + Summer 2018 Release Release . let's see, okay?
Cooperation. It was so named because of the collaboration between three Knitty technical writers in hoods. It has a beautiful lace pattern and the gradient scheme is fun (but good luck finding a similar yarn - it was hand-dyed and hand-stitched by one of the editors working on the project).
Charmayne serp. Beautiful little scarf.
Arashi. Beautiful lace on it.
walk the cliff. I like the modern sky of these stripes, but not the dark color scheme.
Legetta Legetto. It's a beautiful work and hangs very well.
is disturbing. beautiful socks This is an interesting example of lace.
escape from reality. It's fun and would be a great way to use leftover yarn.
Thrombosis. Beautiful curved socks.
seed. This article came up when I asked a designer to create something with his own striped cotton thread. It comes with a pattern that works beautifully with this yarn with a horizontal striped yoke and a vertical striped body. The shape is good and the stitching is attractive.
Mila. I think it will make me feel like I'm carrying a beach bag. If the color combination was more striking, I might have wanted more.
April showers. I'm not a fan of open-front vests, they always look bad and I do not consider them flattering, but it's a lovely and well-made piece nonetheless.
Klafoutis. I like the top of this piece, but I can not like the bottom at all. These loose seams and unbuilt panels look torn and sloppy.
Sea turtles These little turtles are incredibly beautiful.
