Knitty Deep Fall 2019: A Review
Nitty has released the 2019 edition of Deep Fall . Let's see, shall we?
Fuck the cancer hat. Here we see the skin. This design uses a slick sewing technique to give it a bold look and it works so well that I'll need to keep this in mind for a future project. I love the overall concept and implementation of the hat design, and as a person who has lost a lot of cancer to cancer and whose parents have been diagnosed with cancer for the past five years (they are alive and well, I'm happy), I also applaud the mood.
Apple Valley. This is a classic sweater with a round neckline and geometric pattern, a testament to the spectacular Rorschach. Has anyone else seen the turnip upside down?
This wheelchair is a dazzling, yet stylish, hooded scarf, and it's no small feat in design, as I've seen a lot of great things in my time.
There's nothing wrong with the fitting - the shape is great, the design looks good - but I didn't feel comfortable seeing the inside of this model. Also, these sleeves are very long.
Nuthach Chapel. Nice hat.
Nuthach cardigan. This is a sweater to wear with a hat. It is beautifully embroidered with elegant contrast embellishments. And when I made sweaters and hats with the little girls in my life, I never made them for myself and I suddenly wondered why.
Jo. This is truly a scrap project as the designer made these bells using the Magic Knot Ball method with spare yarn squares. Be careful with your color choice and you will find the hood unattractive.
switch. It made me think I was wearing a pot.
Always be brave. It's catchy and eye-catching and would be a great way to highlight the colorful threads you see in your favorite thread shop.
Askuteni. I love it. The shapes are nice and the abstract colored lines are balanced and flowing, which makes me think of mountains as an interesting path for them.
Saturday afternoon. This hood is retro and it would be interesting to choose a thread for this.
Nadishakha. Creating behind barren branches or calm seas , this work is a limitless technical achievement, but I don't think I came up with the idea of holding the neck of the sea and maybe it tells me that there is a way to speak for me.
Fay-Mort. What a beautiful scarf design. Nice design and embroidery.
