Knitty First Fall 2019: A Review
Knitty has published its first Fall 2019 issue. Let's see, shall we?
Share. This case gives you a cool and comfortable look and would be a fun design to choose from as a color palette.
banion This coat looks like a classic Breton sweater with boat straps and that's what I'm here for. very nautical.
I had a dream last night . A classic, reversible flat hat which is always a nice bonus.
Mrs. Muffatee Rabbit. Inspired by the work of Beatrix Potter, this hoodie and glove set features an attractive slip-knit texture. Even if you think you'll never make this game, check out the template page, which has a great little biographical essay about Potter, illustrated with beautiful watercolor sketches.
Brenton point. This is a cool reinterpretation of the Icelandic yoke that is light and has a fresh modern feel. I think the combination of solid background colors on the yoke gives the yoke a hooded look, simple use of diamonds on the yoke and minimal detail on the sweater body. The shape is also good.
Go. The design is more reminiscent of the 80s, although the subtle color palette is contemporary. It's funny in its own way, but it will fix those collapsed shoulders.
My fugi. I love it so much that I added it to my favorite sock pattern on Ravelry and look forward to having it in 2020.
You do not love me? This one must be very 80s, and of course the pattern name makes a very specific reference to the 80s (and that misleads me). They're fun and perfect to wear if you imagine you're dancing under a flashlight in a 1980s dance club.
Bremen is the city. Oh, that's a fun design that makes me smile. Great for smart and brave pets who work together, steer a group of thieves out, and build a happy and comfortable life after their abusive owner chases them away as they get older. However, I can't help but wish the top edge had a slightly nicer finish and/or crease.
Ozzie the possum. I'm trying to overcome my overall aversion to possums here and give this design a fair review, so I'm just going to say this design is really well done and makes these hideous rodent species look cute and cuddly, and now I'm going to sew some more. as soon as possible to distract yourself from the mere existence of possums.
