Knitty Spring + Summer 2018: A Review

Niti released the 2018 Spring + Summer Edition . Let's take a look at that, shall we?





cooperation. It got its name from the collaboration between the three technical editors of Balaklava Niti . It has a favorite lace pattern and a fun gradient color (but I'm usually lucky to find similar yarn - it was hand-dyed and woven by the editor working on the project).





Charmaine Shell. Cute little shawl.





Peanuts. There is a beautiful lace.





Walking on the cliff. I love the modern look of this color scheme tape, but it's not annoying.





Legita Legita. It's a beautiful piece and it fits well.





Good calendula socks. This is an interesting example of lace.





Escape from reality. It would be fun and a great way to use up the rest of the yarn.





win over. Good socks.





seeds. This article came about when I asked a designer to make something out of peeled yarn. He imagined a fine example of such a yarn with a horizontal striped yoke and a vertical striped body. The shape is good and the embroidery is attractive.





love. I think it would make me feel like I was carrying a beach bag. I could have preferred the color combination to make it more attractive.

April rains. I'm not a fan of open-front button-up jackets - they always look wrong and I don't think they're attractive - but they're still a pretty solid thing.





tentacles; I like the top of this part, but I don't like the bottom. These loose seams and seamless panels look ripped and worn out.





A group of sea turtles. This little turtle is definitely cute.
