Knitty Spring + Summer 2018: A Review
The Knitty Spring + Summer 2018 collection has been released. Let's take a look at this, shall we?
Cooperation. The name comes from a collaboration between three Knitty technical editors. She has a beautiful openwork pattern and a fun combination of color tones (but overall she was lucky enough to find a similar thread - one of the editors working on the project hand-dyed and spun it).
Charmaine Xala. Good shawl.
Arashi. This is beautiful lace.
Rocky walk. While I don't like the bland color of these stripes, I do like the modern vibe.
Read Leghetto. It is a beautiful piece and hangs very well.
Calendula. Good socks. This is an interesting lace pattern.
Avoid reality. This is fun and would be a great way to use string ends.
Trianbus. Beautiful socks with braids.
Ugh. This article was born when a designer was asked to design something out of striped yarn. It featured a horizontally striped yoke and a bold pattern that matched the vertically striped body. The style is good, the seam is beautiful.
Thousands. I think it will make me feel like I am wearing a beach bag. Perhaps it would be better if the color combination was more attractive.
April rains. I'm not a fan of open cardigans - they don't always fit me and don't sit very well on me - but she said they were pretty and well made.
Clafouti. I love the top of this piece, but I can't love the bottom. Sagging seams and raw panels look torn.
Collection of sea turtles. These little turtles are not cute enough.
