Knitty Winter 2017: A Review
Let's take a look at the 2017 winter edition of Knitty , shall we?
Fallingbach. Attractive set of a knitted hat and mittens with a rope.
Kitty Kate. It sure is cute, but I think if you wanted to crochet a cat, it would be better to crochet a cat than Humpty Dumpty with ears.
sweet bath ! I like the diamond wire effect.
Exquisite Greece. It seems the Home Ec student turned to the knitting component of the course after putting it together in a few days because the semester was over and she needed to pass something or not take the course at all.
Teshers. It is absolutely fabulous and a visual treat.
Fulgier scarf. This is an attractive modular scarf. I also think the basic idea can be used to create a beautiful modern Afghan style.
isochronous arc. The use of color gives this lace cape a modern look.
chariot The same. There is a smaller black and white version of this pattern, but I think it's the coloring of this pattern that creates the pattern.
Went through. This hood is a little too lighthearted and sloppy in style for my taste, but I have to admit it works well here in style and layering. The yarn is beautiful, the colors match well and match the pattern.
ceibo This is a cropped top and shawl with wider panels and slanted sleeves.
nice field. It is absolutely cute and elegant enough to be worn by an adult.
Oberon. Classic knitted cardigan.
Nukumori. It's kind of a cut for Hercules, knees if you like. Although they are obviously carefully constructed (look at the shape), they look a little clunky, as if they are going through some sort of puberty that leaves them somewhere between the knee and the hips.
Place. I love working with lace on them.
battle for freedom Here's a great looking cable!
instant puree. I love the comfortable knitted look of these kids gloves.
Also oblique. Simple gloves without decorations. This is one of those patterns that will be a great way to show off interesting yarn.
