Pom Pom Quarterly Spring 2020: A Review
Today we look at the spring issue of Pom Pom Quarterly for 2020 .
On. This photo has a certain charm, it’s hard not to refrain from smiling at this model, but the current design with shoulder bags, shortened length, exaggerated cut and wide sleeves will be very unwavering for most women.
Membrane. Very nice light scarf.
Dawn. The matching detail is gorgeous and I like the way it blends with the stripes, but the length of the cut combined with the relaxed cut is not conducive to the design. I would make this pattern of standard length and size.
Cairo. Pretty decent sweater, but shoulder bags will fix.
Chapman. This shawl borders on the Afghan grandmother, but for some reason it seems fundamentally torn and modern. I imagine a certain type of young man wearing this accessory as a model.
The gap. The lace pattern is very attractive, but the shape is awful. God, those little dull sleeves, high-low hem, total loose thing, it’s so disgraceful on the model.
fog. I like this one better. I like the contrast between the detailed yoke, the strong cuffs and hem of the matte yarn and the soft sleeves of mohair and silk yarn. I’ll make it a little longer: a short length is usually not appropriate.
solasta I would have carefully layered this and removed the simple hem and long silk output, but I can’t help but like some of the sherbet color threads used here.
Whisper. This sweater with side strips of merino wool and mohair bottom is very beautiful.
vayu This crocheted shawl is an interesting and attractive modern version of the lace shawl with linear lines, not curves.
