Rowan 40 Years: A Review

Rowan celebrates her 40th birthday with a unique collection of 40 styles from around the world. I've only seen their models in those six years, so I've seen their annual edition, although I've seen some models for the second time. Interestingly, I have attached the first design revision from 2012 and said I would not keep my word. When I started working on this review, I was hoping Rowan would go back 40 years and present a model category for the next four decades. But they didn't. Most of these models appear to have been made in the last twenty years, only once since 1990. He went to the museum of modern history and heard that half of the exhibit was closed. But I understand why the Rowan producers did it. Fashion hasn't changed much in the last twenty years and it's easy to choose trendy and attractive designs for the 2018 standard over the past two decades, but it requires great combinations of the last twenty designs to use, and most of all many more. Pay for new printed pullover designs. They shouldn't work.





Onza It's a 2000 model.It's so simple and classic that I doubt it will ever look old





Anis Shail. This package looks like it came from 2009. This beautiful scarf is definitely not going out of style.





Winter flowers. Notification. Here is another design from 2000. I like the low flower look, the beautiful shape and am happy to choose this color combination.





Arkansas Islands . This sweater is from 2012. When I reviewed it in 2012, I stated that I generally liked it and complained that the neckline and skirt were tight. It's true that the way the sweater was placed on top of the pattern in the original production photo didn't work well for the design. It fits well here.





Carlotta from 2004. At first glance, this model may seem more accurate. I think it was in the early 80's and I think it might be without beads and ribbons, but these memories make it look more modern. Very cool, but if it really does, I decided to do it without ribbons and beads. The details of the squad are enough for me.





Exaggerated. Nice thing, not 2007. I like a delicate and complex game.





Cover with square. I don't know when this design was first released because it's not in Ravel. It really looks better than the first image because it lets you download it for free. I like the details of the necklaces and gloves, but I don't want them to look too small.





Evia from 2002. This is a very traditional design of how the contrast panel below works. It really refreshes and transforms into something else.





Agnes since 2004. The French knot certainly works.





Soumk Shawl Set. The first time I saw it since 2013 , I said, "The Somak scarf wrapped dress is really cool. Buy some thread and sew a beautiful afghan fabric. I think that's enough. There is a very good texture here.





Addison Since 2012, I've written in my 2012 review: "Grooming gives this basic design a very finished look. Color this sweater as your favorite sweater and you'll have three or four intricate designs and more. Real hard work and true. fun. Attractive sweater. "When I started blogging, I didn't go through all the magazine styles like I do now. I still think it's a very elegant pure wool design. And it requires more attractive colors.





Tili. Since 1999. Very nice.





Regular Celine. I don't know when it was released because it doesn't seem to have a Ravelry page. I wonder if this is one of the most frustrating models for most women? Even this professional model does not work properly.





Gizley from 2009. A beautiful piece with a delicate texture that adds interest (and warmth) to a casual outfit.





Brace Happ Shawl from 2007. This Afghan style cloak works better than I thought, but still looks older than the previous one.





Traveler. Useful and captivating packaging since 2010.





Dynamic. Since 1991 and this design is the same as in 1991 because it offers a loose fit and cut that was prevalent at the time. I don't know why we weren't looking for happy media in those days. I like the overall design of both sweaters, but I would replace them with a regular fit with a shape at the waist.





Valentina has certainly been impressive since 2010. It was one of those dark moments where he started an endless monologue with himself.





Flour vacuum cleaner. Great view, gorgeous since 2003. I've adjusted a bit and the idea I see in one of the Ravelry user photos on this Ravelry template page is that I like the idea of ​​adding a narrow band of color around the neck, coat and eyelid lines. .





Kintair. Since 2012 I have been writing that it is a "beautiful trailer" . And I find myself in this bold and controversial position.





Brocade 2005. Beautiful. I've been looking at this design for a long time.





Robinia has been in love with the floral style since 2011, but I can't think of a regular fit. But I have to admit that this design looks good on Ravelry users who like it.





Installations. Since 2004. This is very nice. The nice edges and shape transform a simple short sweater into something beautiful.





Burghley 2009. Nice thing.





Lydia. Since 2010. Fair Isle's design is great (it's a cafe facade design after all), but I'm redesigning it. I have seen from Ravri's user project that many Rav users have created the sweater or leggings they need using the Fair Island pattern.





Celtic is the most attractive and comfortable jacket since 2006.





It is evolving. Since 2001. Beautiful. This design also appears in the short-sleeved version of the Floral Intercia model, but I think the floral look is even better.

Wentworth from 2009. Beautiful and emotionally rich drawstring cardigan.

Strawberries. This is another model I found on Raveli, so I don't know when it was first released. This is so beautiful. I like the floral design and borders of the photos and the shape is gorgeous.
