Vogue Knitting Holiday 2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released the number of holidays for 2019 . Let's take a look at the holiday glamor points, shall we?
Model number. 01, Victorian style. This sweater is meant to be reminiscent of women's sweaters of the 1890s, and I must admit that it is a nice update of that style, long cuffs and slightly flattened sleeves, yet absolutely modern and wearable.
Model number. 02, Marila. Not very satisfied. A slight color in the body of the sweaters did not suit me - the effect was not attractive and spectacular and did not seem appropriate. This design can be replaced with another yarn alternative because I think it will look great with two opposite or complementary yarns.
Model number. 03, Oceania. I really like the whole model - bold and funny - but I'll make it bigger.
Model number. 04, Walabi. Well ... uh ... collar ribs work. They have no short sleeves and no front pockets and the overall look is dull and large.
Model # 05, Gibson Girl. As a person who loves Edwardiana, I appreciate the design direction of this version. I don’t think I can wear a puff sleeve sweater because I have to wrap the top, but I definitely like the look of this dress and the sleeves won’t be damaged by the bracelet. Good fit
Model number. 06, rhombs. This is a fresh and modern diamond pattern.
Model number. 07, parallel circle. It is light enough but short in length, which is not the easiest length for most women and requires design skills if you want to stretch it.
Model number. 08, rectangular. This designer has cleverly transformed the bottom part into a design element with a strategic float. The result is a retro fabric that can be used to create two different looks. I was shocked and will remember this strategy for the Argyle and Hood set on my 2020 project list.
Model number. 09, Losanj. Also very smart and portable.
Model 10, Argyle. This is a great update to the classic Diamond Vest. Picking a color scheme would be fun, but I would suggest skipping the yellow and black combo because it would seem outrageous to Charlie Brown.
Model 11, open shawl. This shawl complements the image more than warmth and is practical. It will occupy everything.
Model 12, Jacinta Pool. This nice design would be a good candidate for a stylish yarn as it is cool enough to wear on a casual evening.
Model 13, Fleur de Glycine. It is beautiful and visually appealing and has a fresh, modern vibe. I spent just a few minutes staring at it, the lines curved and wavy in front of my eyes.
Model 14, has iris. Great. I like the combination of angora, lace and sequins, which are very luxurious to look at and even beads are rarely used.
15. Eredua, Dress the Pivion. It’s beautiful, and when I look at the model outside of her immediate impression, it strikes me as how wearable this thing is. It can be worn over a dress or a top and pants, or over or underneath.
Model number. 16, Cromoji. It's beautiful and I'll wear them myself. Anyway, I'll take care of it.
# 17 Edua, Lavender Shawl. Very good package. The stitching is beautiful.

Model 18, rose petals. In general, if I consider a single-sleeved shell-colored blanket with fibrous "petal dot" edges, I can show a tendency to joke about mutant mermaids, some of which come to mind right now, but in this case I can't. Strange idea, but this designer did it with such amazing art that I was just amazed to see the result .
Wrong plaid pullover. This pattern comes from the Vogue Knitting "archive" for this problem. It originally appeared in Vogue Knitting Fall / Winter 1985 and was republished in Vogue Knitting 's "Classic" Pattern Book. It’s hard for me to keep my feet up, especially a sweater that can accommodate more people, but for each of them, I think.
