Vogue Knitting Late Winter 2018: A Review
Vogue Knitting released its issue in late winter 2018 with actress Kristen Ritter on the cover. Ritter has appeared twice on the Facebook page of this blog : he interviewed the thread and then gave him a knit when he brought in a journalist ; Then Stephen Colbert taught him to hold on while he was on The Late Show (or he tried to learn it with confidence) . I already loved Ritter for his charismatic screen presence and admired his acting, so his gospel passion for our profession is a huge advantage. That's right - it's not about us, but about the knitting, and about the other designs in this issue.
№1 style, collar skirt. If you're a depressed and tight homeschooling mom and your only social relationship with other adults is to cry and cry to your mom every night because you can not get your child to sleep, then this is your search.
Styl2 style, inner vest. It is good to adapt to this detail, but not the general lines and shapes. It is a kind of heavy, shapeless soil.
Style 3, colored corduroy sweater. sigh. Vogue Knitting seems to be completely over with this issue.
Styl4 style, tou jersey. Classic sweater.
Model 5, Telegram jersey. I prefer this because the designer took the classic cable jacket in a slightly different direction by changing the direction of the cables.
№6 pattern, two-layer sweater. The designer of this jacket was looking for an innovative look with a cropped top, but I do not think it works. I always look at it and think its design should be shrunken or flawed, and that's not a good response to a knit design.
№7 style, light Christmas jacket. Out of respect for Kristen Ritter's modeling, but I do not really care about her design. I think I will lift my bent shoulders, add a little size and make sure this jacket will be an interesting thread to give this simple design the effect you need when you do not need Kristen Ritter.
№ 8 style, thin raglan. I really appreciate its importance. It seems that the formation of the armhole starts at the waist, and even a working professional model can not stand it.
Style # 9, simple sweater. It's just another part of "seven children who are depressed and stressed while attending home".
Model 10, Moss Stitch Jackets. Theoretically, I'm not against a wine neck seam, but the truth is that the size plus is "fit and comfortable" as well as "fits in like a house and shakes things up every time you turn around." yes.
№ Model 11, pompom envelope. It's quite nice, but I can not imagine wearing it so big and tall. I usually make this "wrapper" a little bigger and then leave it on the couch.
№ Model 12, large cold envelope. It's a wonderful piece and should be worn as a boot, but I think it's going to be another item on the couch.
№ 13 style, vest volume. This thing sits wrong and sits down. I saw the tents I was ready to take away.
Style № 14, tou sweater. Another classic sweater, this time a standard size.
№15 style, brioche jacket. This piece reminds me of Dakota Fanning's beautiful sleeveless outfit from the 19th century. in the late 19th-century drama The Stranger , but despite being an interesting and groundbreaking piece with fine seams, it may have undergone some adjustments to make it more flattering. I lifted my lowered shoulders and stretched my body and pulled tight to balance the lamb's sleeves.
№ Model 16, lace jacket. The hand-painted lace and threads used here are great, but these unstructured backs never appeal to me.
№ Model 17, feather cap. Innovative, unique and portable.
№18-style, scarf-shawl. This is another shawl that looks like it's on the couch, or rather Grandma Myrtle's couch. To treat this piece of monophony or at least with colors similar to the Afghan grandmother's will help, because the laces are very flattering.
Model 19, Domino Xala. The ship is attractive, portable and modern, which definitely looks like it belongs to someone.
№20 pattern, woven scarf. Wonderful texture and interesting texture in this material, which is not surprising since it was designed by Nikki Epstein.
