Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2018: A Review

Vogue Knitting has just published the Spring / Summer 2018 issue. Let's take a look. Unfortunately, I can not link to the Ravelry page for every drawing, as I usually do, as only two drawings have a Ravelry page.

Model number. 1. There are excellent stitches, but the lines are not so nice and practical.

Model 2. Some very characteristic details. I do not know if I like the effect of the rotation on the arm hole or the way the V-neck is finished.

Model number. 3. A nice open sweater for summer. Introduce them in glowing, fresh or pure white, as matte oatmeal is not good for design.

Model number. 4. Looks a bit crooked and outdated. Correcting drooping shoulders can help a bit.

Style no. 5. Combining a romantic, almost Edwardian front, with a bold open back really works and the varied but beautifully integrated stitching looks great.

Model number 6. Not bad. The pattern stands out and the small effect of the scarf is an interesting modern twist.

Model number. 7. Here is a really bright and attractive color combination and pattern. I would love to go further and make it Afghan. This does not mean, as I sometimes do, this scarf would look better on the sofa. It is so good that it will work for both the person and the sofa.

Model number. 8. Quite elegant and sporty T-shirt.

Model number. 9. A simple blouse, the curiosity of which lies in the fact that it is knitted with plush yarn. It would be better to be a little more careful.

Model number. 10. A very simple but attractive detail.

Model # 11 I'm not a big fan of cracked sleeves, but I have to admit they hold up well and if the sleeves were full, it would be a whole different thing. I would like to make the body a little longer and a little more regular.

Model number. 12, cable tank. This is one of those models that pushed me to try it. I like the scale on the sides and the easy passage of the cables. I doubt most women would have a problem with such a plunging neckline, especially if they are looking for a bra without straps, but it is an easy adjustment.

Model number. 13. Oh, this ribbed sleeveless bodycon dress is simple, beautiful and classic. I would wear it without thinking twice.

Model number. 14. Mesh tunic with regular cut. Colored threads "How a bee vomited after an overdose of a lilac bush" was not a particularly good choice.
