Twist Collective May 2018: A Review
In today's article, we look at Twist Collective 's May issue .
swing . This unstructured and minimalist piece is not my job, but I have to admit that it seems to hold up well (important, because how long will it take the wearer to put it on - anyway?) And that the color play is visually lacking. is visual. Interesting.
Gloxinia . Fairy Top.
petrina . A simple summer or layered product with just enough detail to make it interesting.
Chile . Another beautiful lace scarf.
esplanade . It's fun, smart and sporty, and very portable.
Montpellier. Another beautiful scarf with a modern stripe pattern. I'm not too keen on this color palette (I think it's yellow, which I would change to any other color), but it's an easy solution.
Turkish view . It looks incomplete and out of place. Trimming the edges will help it sit better and it can probably be trimmed.
Harlow . I especially like this one. The prelude has an art deco charm.
come on Not bad. I think this is what I would do in a more interesting topic.
mcgregor . A beautiful piece. I like all the details on the edges and sides. I think I would have fixed those limp shoulders, which would have made the shoulders more flattering and improved the fit a bit.
Delphic Grove. The embroidery on this scarf is beautiful and drapes beautifully.
bet . This is a simple and portable piece, though I think I would like to change the cut a bit. The ring and buttons on the back make it interesting.
Talaita . The fourth is a beautiful scarf. It reminds me of an Edwardian shirt, probably due to the combination of white and eyes.
Soenapi. It's well fitted and detailed, and the split lace sleeves are nice, though I do not know how much to wear. At least for me, the only time I created a dress with cropped sleeves, I ended up sewing it together because I could not stand them flapping and showing the wrong side of the fabric. They are split at the bottom, do not show their bad side, and look good fast, so I think they are quite serviceable.
