Vogue Knitting Winter 2018/2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting presented the 2018/2019 winter issue . Let's see, shall we?
Scheme 1, tou poncho. I like this design more than most poncho designs, probably because it has the shape and details and is almost compatible with a sweater.
Pattern 2, Basque jersey. I like the physical shape and the sturdiness and the beautiful cable.
Reason 3, sweater. Not bad, although I'll straighten my shoulders down.
Pattern 4, diamond poncho. A nice piece. Its diagonal lines give it a certain subtlety.
Model 5, lace vest. The nice details and shape are also excellent.
Model 6, waistcoat with drawstring. Classic vest.
Model 7, Argyle jacket. A simple and comfortable version of the classic jacket with Argil.
Pattern 8, Cubix Shawl. He can be an excellent analyst and is visually appealing.
Pattern 9, flashing poncho. When it comes to sewing, it's a little too afghan for me, but I have to admit it looks good and fits well.
Motif 10, shawl with shawl. Modern circulation is very interesting.
Model 11, two-tone sweater. It's a little rough and just right for my taste, but I think if you straighten your lower shoulders, it'll be good enough to wear and fun to play with the color options above - the combination of these matte light gray and ivory it doesn't do much for it.
Pattern 12, sweater hearts. Looks like a good dog sweater, not quite something for a grown woman.
Model 13, sleeveless A-line skirt. It looks like a bag wrapped around a drawstring. It's for the style, but I don't know what to do with this piece. It is almost as stable as a bag and does not help shred ordinary ivory out of it.
Motif 14, stretch with stripes and foulard. I brought out the concept of a striped sweater with a scarf in a matching color.
Reason 15, larger shawl. Not bad, but one of the coolest bandages on the sofa.
Model 16, Wintermeer. Such a beautiful lace.
Motif 17, Cardigan with shelf. I'm not a big fan of dolman guns, but I actually prefer it. It looks very nice from the back, not so good from the side. I thought about loosening the ridge between the ribs and the seam used all over the body because it sticks out a lot and doesn't make sense.
Example 18, displacement of the triangle. Very good. I prefer unusual color combinations, as well as elegant lines and embroidery combined with minimal finishes.
Model 19, Argyll tortoise. Oh, I remember this drawing by Adrien Vitadini, it first appeared in the 1996/97 winter issue of Vogue Kniting and a slightly dated copy of it is on the shelf in my model library. This is a smart thing to wear. I don't have time yet, but that doesn't mean I don't have time.
Pattern 20, striped jacket. I prefer it, even though draped cardigans aren't my job at all. The stripe combination works beautifully and the design hangs quite well.
