Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 62: A Review, Part 1

Rowan published 62 issues of the magazine on weaving and knitting . Let's look at the first 21 of the 41 models. ETA: You can find the second part of this review here .

dusk. A classic lace-up cardigan, that doesn't stop Kidssilk Hedge yarns and beautifully colored delicate lace in this style.

I love the stripes, but the size of this extra jacket isn't very cute and doesn't look good when worn outside.

fish lake. Oh, I really love this beautiful island with its baseball-inspired design and weave it myself without any style changes. A little quirky classic is my favorite picture.

hiss. Beautiful body with attractive layers.

shining. This cardigan has a sparkly line and even this super cute business model looks compact. Description of the style called it "comfortable cardigan". I draw your attention to the fact that if the place in the real estate advertisement is said to be “clean”, then it is not necessary to say more. Knitwear should be as comfortable as cleaning a place for rent or sale.

green wood This jacket has really excellent timing. The shape of the waist cannot be given, because it will go much beyond the picture, but I will clean the wound by straightening the lower shoulders.

xatan. This afghan knitted shawl is a bit more my choice, but I love the color.

every day. Simple enough, but enough to wear. I think I'll add a bit of an aged rib or pico to the neckline because it looks a bit patchy.

Monday. Beautiful detail with a very beautiful embroidery pattern.

sunset. I don't like the hard shape. As you can see, in all the photos the model appears in the corner and not in the foreground.

evening. I love the beautiful threads and beadwork in their detailing, and while I'm not crazy about shaping them, I don't hate their stripes as much as I would in a long-sleeved or short-sleeved, go-to jacket. . It has a poncho effect and works great as a layering fabric.

Cowlam. excellent! The texture is good and the tortoise is bigger than ever, and the long cuffs give it some charm.

eclipse. I like it, but I can't help but feel uncomfortable with the proportions and balance. I'll add more lace in place of a separate ribbon below.

Sweetened. Nice and comfortable jacket.

Thackeray. Very beautiful and elegant hat.

Twilight is very beautiful.

Voss. I love this thread, but man, this stuff is awesome . If your dream isn't to make a jacket that can be a sleeping bag, I'll tie it around your waist and also tie the very long side slits that extend a few inches from the crossbar's waist. I really like the idea of wearing a suit that can be woven separately and thrown away if desired, or worn with other things.

Eastbury. Simple yet smart and portable.

night. The combination of a shawl collar and a garter stitch bead looks great, but the size is really bad. I'm going to straighten my shoulders and add something to the shape of my waist.

Sykes. A sweater with a classic thread, but I'm going to straighten my shoulder and clean the wound again.

Milo has a certain retro appeal—I've seen some chic 1950s jacket designs along the same lines—although the unstructured look and irregular edges make it look modern. Although I don't carry much, I like to flatten my incline shoulders.
