Twist Collective March 2018: A Review

In today's article, we're taking a look at the March 2018 issue of the Twist Collective .

Reiner. This design features a detailed back, plain front and garter stitch side seams. And a flat hem, but for some reason I'm not as willing to fix it as usual. (Hopefully this doesn't mean I tend to flatten my mules, because that's a slippery, treacherous path.) All in all, it's a very decent and sophisticated design.

Shell. This scarf is both delicately beautiful and visually interesting.

green A classic sweater with a train and lace with a very light hem.

Baby. This is a beautiful cap with intricate stitching.

Gramercy Park. Nice summer sweater. The lace is very beautiful.

value. I love the alternation of diagonal webbing and handkerchiefs on this scarf, which gives it a modern look.

Maida. The front view is not bad, but the rear view is badly tiled.

Inakhis. Another attempt at spins and laces. Not bad. In this model, it is small, which is a disadvantage. A good fit is very important.

Ornithologist. I love this hood and glove set with an elegant and whimsical design of birds and branches. This would be my choice for the cover design.

Farney. This one doesn't like it too much. I don't like the drawstring style as the side edges tend to unfurl (like here), making the sweater too small for the wearer. I also don't like the hemmed effect on the necklines, sleeves and hems because it looks unfinished. The bottom edge of the seam is pretty eye-catching, but otherwise this cardigan looks like it needs some extra work.

Bear Ling. It's pretty attractive. I love the effect of the horizontal lace on the sleeves and yoke and the simple details throughout.

Damha. The cotton candy and pea soup color on this scarf is not for me, but as soon as I look at it, I love the design. Garter stitch embroidery tends to look like a "beginner's project" and it's always great to see an experienced designer bring a carefully polished and finished garter stitch project to life. The shape of this scale is beautiful so it fits and drapes beautifully, the edges are crocheted and a decorative drawstring running down the hem is all that is needed.

Woodbury. The classic sweater is well equipped with eyelets.

scrub. It's still so cute. The shape and tailoring are good and those contrasting buttons really complete the look. Suddenly I wanted to make a cardigan with funny buttons.

Chimera. A little Afghan for my taste, but I must admit that in all the pictures of the Ravelry pages of this design, this scarf fits well, the lace is very attractive and it would be interesting to create a color scheme for it. . Project.

Brooklyn. Nice figurine. The shape and tailoring are good, and a slight sheen on the cuffs adds definition to the sweater.

To figure out. Another beautiful summer cardigan with curly knitted rope details.

42nd Street A classic pair of knit and lace socks.

italics. It's decent, but I can't help but think that a more finished style of trim would have done more to this sweater than those rolled edges.
