Vogue Knitting Holiday 2017: A Review
Vogue Knitting released a 2017 holiday edition . Let's see.
Form number. 1, solid sole jersey. This is an oversized sweater that fits very well. Although it would fix those droopy shoulders.
Form number. 2, cover. Handsome!
Form number. 3, Scandinavian hat. Cute and cozy, with interesting and intricate embroidery.
The reason is not. 4, Fair Isle striped jacket. Nice piece, I love the neckline.
Form number. 5, Selburose jacket. The snowflake pattern is surprisingly attractive against the navy blue and I love the bright color addition around the edges of the bracelet.
Model n°6, bobble hat. I... I don't quite understand how this problem ended. Was it meant to be served with vintage 1950s baby Vogue Knitting styles and somehow get lost?
Model nº7, jacquard beanie jacket. Nice. I wasn't sure if I liked that red zigzag on the top of the sleeves because it makes the sleeves look like they're sewn to the body with red thread, but I think it works and gives the jacket a little something extra . .
Model nº 8, Scandinavian socks. Oh, what beautiful and elegant socks! Submit a potential project plan for 2018!
Model No. 9, Obi with zipper. An interesting accessory and I must admit it adds a bit of elegance and interest to this simple white shirt and black leather skirt. I don't think I would get one because my torso is too short to handle and I would come across as someone who doesn't know what balaclavas are.
Form number. 10, standard obi sash. Nice belt and will be easier to wear than the belt above because it is tighter.
Form number. 11, beautiful Obi Island. It's probably my favorite of the three Opis, although I wouldn't do it with those colors. Plum and green are good, but pink and green are boring and unattractive.
Form number. 12, perforated jersey. Not bad for a multi-layered product. This can be done with fine mohair or angora.
The reason is not. 13, herringbone top. I like the look of this one, although I'll be wearing a tight shirt or blouse underneath because I'm worried the hood won't stay closed.
Model n°14, lace cardigan. The matte color and soft draped stripes make this sweater a solid depression.
Form number. 15 years old, casual coat. Oh my, this coat has an unflattering look. From the back, this model looks like a drooping arm.
Form number. 16, jumper with curved cable. I love the concept of this jacket, but the shape and proportions look weird, and the back of this jacket looks sad, sagging, like she just broke up with her life partner, Model No. .14 Also rude to the shoulder, then down. Sleeves and shape change.
Form number. 17, textured jersey. I am very impressed with the textural effects that are integrated so well on this look and the look is so good. However, I would like to remove this hem at the top of the bodice and replace it with a row in a different place, like the one used on the top of the sleeves.
Model No. 18, coat with shawl collar. A simple and portable thing. It will correct drooping shoulders.
Form number. 19, suicide bomber. It's kind of like a beginner's project. It's too simple and no frills to be useful or complicated.
Model No. 20, Adelaide Shawl. This piece has enough interest and sophistication for five themes. She is surprisingly attractive and I love her.
Model number 21, short ruffled cardigan. It looks like a bed jacket from an old 1940s movie, and it should have stayed there. Even this gorgeous model, for all its styling, can't help but look ridiculous and gorgeous.
Form number. 22, puff sleeve top. When I copied all the pics from this post I didn't think I would like this one, but now that I've gotten to the point of writing about it and taking a closer look, I'm sure you will like this. I like it. Seems to me like a modern, modest style on a ruffled jacket. I wouldn't do this alone because I'm sure it wouldn't work very well with a talented character.
Model n° 23, Jersey A line. Not bad. The shape is good and it would be great to show some pretty strings in your favorite colors.
Form number. 24, jacket with ruffle on the yoke. That's it... 1982. And not in a good way.
Model No. 25, Danish Sontag shawl. Attractive and timeless.
