Vogue Knitting Early Fall 2017: A Review
Vogue Knitting released a number in early 2017 . Let's take a look at it, shall we?
Model # 1, binding with open stitching. It’s a bit rough around the edges for my taste.
Engraving n ° 2, woven herringbone. Beautiful scarf. The texture makes it fun.
Model # 3, striped wrap top with dressing seam. It’s a little hard and big for me, and can anyone else see a wall of little people standing on top of each other?
Pattern # 4 Diamond Wrap It has some great stitching.
Model No. 5, Shetland Twist Wrap. Beautiful intricate wiring.
Pattern No. 6, textured film. This pattern swatch is monochromatic but apparently does not fit. I will choose two or even three of these stitch patterns and repeat them without sewing each part separately.
Style # 7, raglan jacket. Classic details with good structure.

Style number 8, kimono style cardigan. Stunning behind this item. I don’t like the front, but I also don’t like open cardigans. I would be tempted to make a sweater out of it.
Pattern n ° 9, diagonal knit cardigan. It’s not bad, though my taste is a little rough and patchy.
Style # 10 Low hem sweater is a good classic.
Model No. 11, sweater with a diagonal texture. Excellent molding and sewing.
Style # 12 Raglan Eyelet Hoodie I'm not a big knit fan, but I love this knit style with its weird, almost loopy look. The size and details are very good.
Pattern # 13, class hat. Nice hat, but I don't know if I totally agree with these headphones, although I have to admit that they are made like headphones. The hat is like a helmet from a picture of the TV series Narnia. It's not necessarily bad.
Pattern n ° 14, cardigan with openwork pattern. I have to admit, this piece goes beyond my usual objection to wearing a baggy sweater. It fits well, the lace is beautiful, the effect is romantic and modern at the same time.
Model No. 15 Rowan Scheme. Lines and colors are irresistible. I expect something less because it is a Kaffe Fassett design.
Pattern # 16, striped boat top. It's something fun and interesting.
Model # 17, a mock-necked t-shirt. It's a fun piece, though I don't think the color palette works well.
Style # 18, Franz West. It's like a "bath mat".
Style # 19, Loose Hem Sweater. I would tend to lengthen it a bit, make it a dress and recreate the color palette.
Style # 20, slash belt jacket. With its worn and raw edges, this jacket looks more like a work of progress than a finished piece.
Model # 21, Fibonacci Invisible Sweater. I love the color combination and this jacket really suits me.
Style # 22, striped dress. It's portable, fun, modern and even great, but every time I see it I hear the words "Please don't adjust your TV".
Style # 23, sweater with lace. This is fine because the shape and color scheme are well thought out, but those hanging strings are driving me crazy.
Style # 24, striped raglan jacket. This is a reprinted pattern originally published in Vogue Knitting 's Spring / Summer 1989 issue. That's fine, but it's not the style I'd choose to reprint in this issue (I've checked and yes, there's already a problem), and although the VK editors suggested replacing the wires to recreate the color scheme shown here, it worked again. The colors will.
I like the idea of decorative button knitting, but it looks a bit complicated.
